Starting with Canada tomorrow, I will be making real-time games before the beginning of formula 1 races. The games will have 24 players in teams of two (2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2) and will take place on the map of the venue for the race (or the most appropriate map I can find).

If you are interested in taking part, please reply here and I will invite you to the game (should be created around an hour before the race begins, around 8pm UK time). If there's enough interest I might set up a driver's championship and a constructor's championship. In that case, you would play for the team you support. Conversely, if there's no interest it might only be on this week since I probably couldn't make up the numbers.

You're meant to be in the team you support, like ferrari or lotus, so that you can talk about the race with a fellow fan. Not that you can't play, you can be the Marussia team I suppose. Didn't expect all 24 places to be filled anyway.

arun i think hes trying to make some sort of gathering via game for predicitons.

the only problem is that i may not be able to play real time

im just trying to gague interest. as i said in the original post, i dont know how many people would be interested so i dont know if even the games will get off the ground. but i like to multitask a little bit while watching formula 1 races so i thought i might make a regular warlight feature of it, where people could also talk about the race.

It is hard for people to commit to real time.... especially since time seems to be in short supply nowadays!

It would be great multiday though...maybe start it after directly after the previous one?
E.g.
Starting the Spanish Grand Prix Game directly after Bahrain real race has finished... that way we could sort of have a prediction on warlight (If the game finishes in time before the actual one.)

Another idea, if there is enough interest - categorise players by ability...Best players as Vettel, Hamilton ect...
Since I am short of time, I cannot commit to anything yet sorry ;(
