I want to message someone that has been invited to the same game as me, but the game has not started. How can I message someone I am not in a game with? It seems like it would be nice to message someone either in the accept/decline screen, or from their profile. In that case you'd need some sort of inbox.

Go to profile - add to invite list - make a 1v1 multi day with that player - talk away.

i think there is a pm feature on the IRC chat

It's been a long-awaited feature. For some reason Fizzer hasn't gotten around to it yet. For now you'll have to settle with what Doggy suggested.

Well the idea extends a bit to the point where you can leave a person a message of some sort - like a mail box. I don't think that it will take more space than making a game each time someone wants to talk to another person.
