Fizzer, i totally get the cost to run the site...why not help yourself on that end somehow? Archive old games, maps never played. Allow people to delete mail. Put some things in place that safe space.

It was already explained.

It's not money lost as opposed to having done nothing. It's money lost as opposed to rolling those features into membership, which would increase the amount of memberships purchased.

Give him a break guys. He doesn't work a proper job so he can run this site. He needs money to be able to pay his rent, and keep the site going. Would you prefer for WarLight to be shut down or for these changes? I for one prefer these changes for sure. If I was older, and could afford it, I would buy memberships on all my accounts, and still keep ads on because it's worth it for this site.

Voodoo, it's not only you and Gnuffone who buy numerous things. For example, Hidden Hand bought 2 memberships and 4 clans (But he's banned now). That's around $120 that he spent.

If it's bothering you so much, make your own Warlight! With blackjack and hookers...

I completely agree that Fizzer shouldn't have to lose money for running WL. Better have him here than in a "real job".

Adding monetization should be OK as long as paying does not make you stronger in games imo. I really hope that principle will be upheld in the future, too, because abandoning it would destroy this game. I've seen flourishing internet games alongside their communities be sold to companies that were only interested in the monetization aspect. Those communities died in record time.

I'm excited to see what major gameplay changes the next major update will feature.

Crap, Players should work hard to level up and unlock stuff.

If you don't like it then leave the game. You're not doing Fizzer any favors by just sitting around and complaining.

A question that's important to me is, wheter i buy Membership with my main account, will my alt lack Speed? some members know this Problem. i would Support that game with a Membership, but not as Long as i have to think my alt account will be unplayable without Membership meanwhile.

I have never been able to understand this binary approach to problem solving. Are there truly only two choices? Animals and primitive man are/were quite stupid. Their modus operandi is also binary: fight or flight. So, now that humans have evolved and been educated and have great technology, our problem solving has devolved? At least with fight or flight we could be strong. Now, the passive followers who can't think for themselves prefer passive acceptance or flight.

What, you don't like something? Well, clearly the only options are to like it and not complain or leave. And since you are whining (your ideas are whining, my ideas are ideas), it is clear you won't passively accept the thing that I find perfectly acceptable. And since your subjective preference is not what I deem to be objectively correct, you should just leave. Yes, that is your only option. I said it, so it is true (to me).

I'm sorry if I offended you, my comment was directed at Kellen The Conqueror. In my opinion, his comment is stupid. If Fizzer just let everyone level up normally to gain features his only source of income would be clans.

Gui, my comment was a joke but it is annoying to constantly hear people bitching. So with this new update you CAN pay $4 to change your name, or level up like it was before. With this update people CAN buy a few perks without leveling up. How was this different from before the levels? You pay a membership and you get perks. Now you pay half of a membership you get less perks. I'm sure you will come back and "teach" me a thing or two about how your Warlight should work but lets all just sit down and look at it for what it is, A FUCKING GAME! Noone owes any of you shit. Sure you can give suggestions for improving it but don't act like you have been betrayed when the updates aren't up to your standard. Feel great that there are some fucking updates! One day Warlight will be gone and all of you who base your life around it will be able to realize what you're unable to currently, it's not that important.
