@freaky, doesn't that mean that someone with 3500 games played would almost invariably beat someone with 500? that's not the case. i beat people with close to 4k games played all the time, so some forms of intelligence/learning capacities apply

*there are different kinds of intelligence, i'm pretty good at math and probabilities, but if someone good at interpreting litterature played warlight i'm sure they'd have a harder time of it ^^

interpreting litterature may also help, because unlike math, it may give u a certain perception of differences in personal attitudes. As half of gameplay passes byu an attempt to predict other's moves i would say that litterature will allow u to make probabilities which dont come so much out of blindness
