Looking at I just defeated Lolowut n on a 1v1 srategic a few daysago ;) I believe its more like I didn't have "synergy in teamgames" and i'm too outspoken in the forums." :)

As for WM, i knew before i applied the chances of joining are slim. I managed to win both games, but apparently I'm not much of a team player :/ no surprisees there :/

so i think the reason I failed is not because "i need to get better", uut more like "you guys don't like me", "I'm too outspoken on the forums" and "I lack synergy in teamgames when i play with people i'v never played before." ;)

2 clans is being a clan whore? I disagree. Many people are in two clans, some in more.

For [WG], we have the requirements that a player must be a solid player and a guy who we can trust. We did not see that in Pulsey. He was decent at 1v1 because of his counter style but when we tested him on team games, he was well below the standards we were looking for.

For apex, the requirement is for a player to be very good and a guy who we can trust to not get booted very often.

I have to laugh at the second line. You must be quite a bad player if you can't see the difference on 1v1 even. On team games, Pulsey is not even decent. It wasn't just [WG] that rejected him. [WM] did too, showing that they don't think he is very good either.

I wish I knew who you are. You trolled on the [20] thread too. I just find it amusing how you are too scared to say it with your older account. Like I said on the [20] thread, if you post with your older account, maybe I wouldn't view your statements as a joke.

Actually, you have to be completely excellent in team games and 1v1 to join WM. Gnuoffone told me i was decent, but not excellent. (Maybe he's lying!)

And don't you find it a bit odd to test someone's team skills, by making him play wth someone he's never even played with before?

@JSA how do you fullfill the requirement for apex then? not getting booted even more?

Pulsey, As I recall, the strategic 1v1 game was played in July when i was a much weaker player. I believe the Europe games were played then too, and they were crap settings, as I told you. I beat you in some small map you played against me that I'd never played before.

You don't even know the players in [WG]. They are Gnullbegg, Lolowut, me, Unknown Ranger, Reza, and ChirsCMU. So you've beaten three, and lost to all three as well I believe.

It's not that you lack synergy. You just don't understand how to play team games. I'm not going to lie, I don't like you anymore. But when you asked about trying out for [WG], I didn't dislike you. It was after you complained about being rejected that made me dislike you. We've rejected some other guys as well, and they don't complain constantly about it like you do. They understand that the only thing to do if you get rejected is to just get better.

You are at the level [WG] would accept for 1v1 but barely. And your teamplay is dismal. Not to mention you constantly try to put members of our clan down on the forums quite constantly. And you also complain every time you get something you don't want. I don't know how old you are, but I would guess 13 from the way you act.

I think with team games, if you have a nice and decent teammate, you should be able to do well with him. If I get a decent teammate, my team almost always does well. Not for you though, because you aren't good at team games.

As for [WM] standards, I'm not going to argue with them. Everyone has different ideas of good and excellent and decent. In my standards, guys like Frank, Gnuffone, etc. are good players, while solid players is what I'd rate a lot of the guys in [WG]. Pulsey, I'd rate you as decent which is below solid. Excellent is only the top 20 or so guys in the game in my opinion. Guys like Gui, Sze, Myhand, etc. In my opinion, there are 2-3 guys in [WM] who I would rate as solid or perhaps even decent on 1v1, but I have yet to meet a bad team player in [WM]. If a player is in [WM], I know they will be a good teammate and typically they are good 1v1 players as well.

As for the point of this thread, Good job [WM]! You guys deserve it! Maybe we should have some kind of inter-clan competition just between apex and [WM] and see how it works out. Just for fun though.

Lust (Gui), A lot of my gameplay depends on my focus. If I am focused, I would have an above 1900 rating in the ladder. If I am not, my rating goes down to about 1800. I would say the apex guys saw that when I was focused, I am good, and they probably also realize that I have always improved fast and will work at getting better at warlight. Right now I have too many games to focus on all of them, but as I lower my game count, you will see my gameplay improve.

JSA - aren't you also in P, X, and what you have decided to make a clan [20]?

In past 1v1 games, Pulsey was the more impressive player. Neither of you are bad players. Have not had the fortune to play 3v3 with either of you to make a comparison.

Regardless, airing out reasons why someone was not included in a clan on an open forum is not the right way to handle things and would have hoped that you possessed more decency than that.

Hyde, I was in [P] and [X] and CPU at one time as well. [X] died, with CPU there was really not much inter-clan activity like I was hoping for but I'm still ok with playing with those guys, and with [P], some of the players weren't improving like I had hoped and some were not reliable teammates.

I don't know who you are so I don't know how I played against you. Perhaps I had bad games or something? Whenever I see Pulsey play, he almost always uses the same style. It works against unsuspecting opponents but whenever he gets to good players who have seen 1-2 of his games, it is much less effective. If he wants to be a good 1v1 player, he will have to be able to mix up his style so he is not so predictable.

I wouldn't air out reasons for anyone else but with Pulsey, I am tired of hearing his complaining and how he always says I and [WG] like to show off blah blah blah.

If I had to be in a different clan other than apex or [WG], I would say [WM] would definitely be my next pick. They are all good team players and nice too. I thought the clan was going to die off with that mass kicking out of players and when X and NoobSchool, and some others left. But I have to give it to Red for standing strong and working to make the clan strong again. Troulussa, Gnuffone, Retrospecka, Dead piggy, and some others I am sure i am forgetting were very good recruits for them.

As for who you are Dr. Hyde, I would guess Boston Phoenix.

Lust is not Gui. Gui has publicly stated that he has been told not to make alts and thus is not Lust.

Russel - I am more surprised by so few apexes or AHoLs being at the top lately.. And yes, i would very much like to see the ladders as the proving ground for the clans. Seeing dynamic changes between clantags on the top would be great. A pity so many of the top players quit and rejoin ladders - it would be so much more accurate if inactive ladder players maintained their place on the ladder until their ranking was beat by other players instead of not ranking them at all... (with a small inactive icon for those who remain while not playing ladder, and unranking inactive players after their not expired game-count falls below 15)

Pulsey - I wouldn't say every member of WM is an excellent 1v1 player, but every WM is excellent in either teamgames or 1v1s and very good overall.

WM should send every player with every other WM player into the race for the top 2on2 ladder spot.
