World is very nice for this game, you can even do other continents with quarth etc.

Lucky for you this map already exists(there's even 2 versions) and it's even older than your account,next time check the maps section in the home tab.

I don't really like either of the maps- the bonuses are huge and half the game is spent just GETTING them. If someone made a more detailed map, with smaller bonuses and perhaps city bonuses, maybe super-bonuses for large countries of kingdoms.
So maybe someone should make another one?

I know there is a Game of Thrones mode for Crusader Kings II, and the map it uses is detailed and already divided in territories, so if anyone wants to make a better Westeros map it would be a great basis.
I haven't played it though, but I think there was a way to extract .png of the blank map

I thought the actual Ice and Fire Map was realy ugly, and not that interesting to play, which was sad since the saga's geography is very interesting. I'll keep you posted when I'm close to testing phase, which should be by the end of the month. I really want this map to look good, so I'm working my OCD out on this one.

Very Nice work on that westeros detailed map. Il love how you used terrain to make strategic chokepoints. I was planning to do the same with my Westeros+Essos map, which has less territories though.

Thanks ... I kind of ended up being too big :) i even had no name for the territories, i had to name them by whose households etc. ...
although i kind of can't figure out how to make the distribution, cause i was trying doing cities of 7 kingdoms (with crownlands and iron islands lefted out) and statistically speaking Reach and Westerlands had no chance of winning the game, and Vale also stood poorly (have no idea why Vale), but AI is AI ... but most players I got were 3 people and 4 AI - leaving me to win from Dorne (others started Westerlands and Reach)
Of course game with normal players will by influenced by peace treaties etc. but ...

Damn it! I finished my super awesome "Lands of Ice and fire map" but it too big for warlight...

Merg territories,simplify reduce map size so you can make them smaller.

Yeah I just did a big simplification job. Map doesn't look as good though. Almost finished, should be ready this week.

I intend it to be a superb map for 24 players diplomacy
