i realized that all the people who have the really nice ladder ranks and profiles all play similarly. playing 1000 games means you get to play against all types of style., which is more fun and also makes you more experienced.

i play both situation, but with 1000 games vs average i don't learn much.
the games vs strong player are the better for improve.
Also i don't found "funny" win easy match vs average player, no point for play it, is a waste of time.

btw after i play 1000 games around with great stats like 85% (i ge it ONLY vs random enemy), as soon as i played first game with high requisites like hhh 55% games, i get destroyed, Always a weight for team.

Yep but competitive clans are better for improving but you have to show them some skill in order to get the opportunity to improve which is bad since if random player that was bad was given as much opportunity as good players to improve.
My point is good clans help the people that can improve on their own and don't help people that don't know how to improve on their own.

That is only partially true. I have helped plenty of bad players on my own, and there are many players from other clans that have done the same on here. but they have to ask for that help. If they don't show the initiative then they probably don't really want to improve.

And yes, we only select people that show promise. Nobody in WG has the time to help dozens of people only to find out they will never be good. And I can attest that I have learned a lot from clan mates. I could have learned that from other good players, but clan mates are more willing to help I think because you being a better player helps them as well.

On the other hand, I take every opportunity to play with good players regardless of what clan they are in or if they are in a clan at all. Even if they don't actively get tips, I learn from them by observing.

WG has performed pretty well on the ladders too (though not to the level of WM and apex). We've had 2-3 players near the top of the seasonal ladders, JSA was #2 on 1v1 and his 2v2 team was also (can't remember but I think it was Warlightvet). Summer and Ineffable have been in top 10 on 1v1 I think, Warlightvet close to that. A few of us are/have been in top 10 on 2v2 for a while.

Gnuff, I agree that playing a bunch of games is not enough, but I also included "has a sharp mind" as a prerequisite. I still don't see your original point very clearly, since there are a large number of good to very good players without a clan. Historically the top 10 1v1 has been dominated by people without a clan tag, and I'm not sure what lesson we are supposed to get from the people already on there joining clans more often, or non-clanned people dropping from the ladder.
