This is my first warlight map and it was a large undertaking thats taken me a rather long time to get to a test ready point. It is large and i had to fight with the file size to get it uploadable, losing more detail then i would have liked and making it difficult to add anything new.

I greatly appreciate any and all feedback and suggestions! thank you all :D

Edit: fixed a lot of connections and a few names

Edit: on a friends suggestion i made the bonues values better

Great map!

Positive Feedback
-Each part of the map has it's own tactical bonus, which makes this map more fun than others to play.
-I love huge maps
-Great creativity to make such a map

Some improvements
-There are missing connections and some strange connections
I see on the most places a river cuts the connections, this is good but do it for every river on the map for example: there is a connection between Thaymount and Peaks of Thay while they are not fysically connected.
- There are some missing connections with the lines over water
For example: Laothkund and Escalant
Suldolphor and Yallaseh/Ormpur

I only checked some territories not all, so maybe there are more missing connections
Make sure that all the connections are clear and correct and this map will be a 5 star map!

Wow. For your first map, this is pretty decent! Good job.

But there is always room for improvement, some things that you should try to improve on next time round:

-Mainly borders and territory lines are a bit messy. Next time try to make clean borders and smoother lines. Zoomed out it looks terrific, zoom into the territories it looks quite ugly and messy.

-Distribution mode, especially for a fantasy map. Atm its just a bit random, you need a little bit of a background story or scenario's.

-I'm pretty sure you cant fit a 2 digit number in the bridge territories?

However things that are impressive for your first map:

-General design, creativity and layout = pretty damn good.
-I didn't look a lot for this, but bonuses seem balanced.

Thank you for the feedback! I've done a second round of connection checking to fix a lot of the missing ones. I've got a list of redrawing i need to do but Thaymount and Peaks of Thay wasnt on it yet, it is now thanks Willem.

Thank you Apollo, the messy edges are the unfortunate result of making the territory's to detailed and then having to use the simplify tool in Inkscape to get the file size up-loadable. I am planning to go back in and try to smooth out as much of it as i can. Also I've added making bridges bigger to fit 2 digit army stacks better Thank you!

Omg, for a first map this is absolutely beautiful. Sure, it's a little bit messy, but that's a pretty easy fix, and the current level of detail is amazing. Great job! I can't wait to set up custom scenarios and play on it!

Once you've completely drawn and seperated the map, it's nt easy at all to fix messy places. I made my British Isles twice, because the first map was so messy and not fixable.

That's a limitation of only having < 2,000. You can't go into too much detail, otherwise it has a horrible impact on the finished product. Deleting and moving nods will easily fix that. But very very time consuming.

Why has this piece of art not been published yet? It's amazing and I want to play on it already! >:(

Looks fantastic! If you need testers later on, then I'd be happy to assist! Looking forward to this one.
