Dom1511 and myself have been running a 1v1 league for the past 3 or 4 months and the third season is just about to begin. The league consists of 4 divisions of 12 players and each player in each division plays everyone else in that division once. We also run a cup which runs along side the league where all players which participate in the league also lay in. Each season normally lasts 6-7 weeks with a 2 week gap inbetween each season.

Matches for the league take place every wednesday and saturday and are set up at around 5pm GMT. Each matchday has a different map and settings so over the season their is a real variety of matches. The games are set to multi-day so thet players do not have to be their at 5m every wednesday and saturday and play it RT, instead they can play over a few days or weeks. each season 3 players get promoted/relegated from each league

The cup starts of as a group stage with their being 8 groups of 6. From those 8 groups the top 2 advance to the knockout stages. We created this so players from different divisions can play each other.

We set this up as at the moment there is no way through the warlight site which players without membership can play in leagues of this scale. We also have created a website which contains all this information such as, fixtures, results, stats and standings.(www.warlight.leaguerepublic.com)

There are still a few places left for season 3 which begins on June the 5th so if you are intrested in joining just ask and we will try fit you in. Also if any experienced players would just like to take some time to look at the website and then post what they think of it or any improvements which we could make it would be appreciated.

I looked at the website, I think it's great, I think with more publicity, this league could turn out really good. It's very nicely set up, the only problem is you seem to be lacking in good players. I personally might play in the future but I have enough other warlight games right now. I hope it keeps going though, seems like a great idea that has been carried out well.

JSA - Pretty much exactly the feedback we're already aware of. The quality is not great, and will probably become even more of an off-put to the good players the more leagues we get, because it'll take longer to get to D1..

I`m definitely not among the very top players, but I\m from REGLs Crimson Snipers, and that should be good enough :p

Also I've a couple of questions. Are all games with low luck settings? How are they made?

At the moment the luck is set to its original 75%, this is because most players in the league are used to this. You can say that you may be cheated out of a win by bad luck in one game but over the season the luck evens out so you may get bad luck in one game but in others you will get good luck.

Games are made using alt accounts which me and dom have, we will invite both the players and then once the game has started we will surrender.
Ive put you both in if you look at the website around 5th of june when the first games will be put up you can see all your fixtures.

For me it looks like a poor copy of promotion/relegation league.

Only thing you have added is a website which indeed is an eye candy, but it's as easy to make it for the original p/r league as well, as you used leaguerepublic.com template site....

From looking at the promotion/relegation league i think there is a need for something like this. The promotion/relegation league uses a fixed template for every season with no variety whereas this league uses a mix of different maps and settings to test all parts of a players game. As well as this the promotion/relegation league is mainly for members looking through the players in each division and in this league there is a chance for all players no matter how experienced you are to play in one of the divisions.

Sign me up and if their is no room i will be ready to sign up for next league.

Bleh, not a bad idea, but 75% luck is by itself a massive turnoff.

ok there is space for you two this season as we had 2 drop outs but you wont be able to lay in the cup for this season.
And im most likely going to buy membership and then the games which are played in the league will have a mix of 0%, 16% and 75% luck

No just get rid of 75% I think, just do 16% and 0%.
