Custom Wastelands: 10/29/2014 02:46:52

I recently tried to create a custom scenario, which stayed completely neutral, but with wastelands in it. The Custom Scenario Builder doesn't let me create templates with a custom distribution, if the map stay neutral. Is there a way to fix this problem?

The idea of a custom scenario is that you define, territory by territory, exactly what the starting map looks like. If you made every territory neutral, then there would be no players, and no game.

You should try manual distribution (i.e. "let players decide where to start"), then in the custom scenario set every territory to slot A, then define your wastelands.

My idear was to let the neutrals in bonus "A" have X armies and in bonus "B" Y Armies. The player still could choose their picks, but the wastelands are custom.

I tried to let players choose their picks, while i still used slots in the CSB. The test results:
-The neutrals, which stayed neutral in the CSB too, have still their custom number of armies.
-The territories, which had a slot in the CSB, are neutrals now with 2 armies. If a player choosed a pick in one of theese territories, he get the number of armies, the slot had before.
