Yep, People will be getting credit.

BTW, There is a bad guy hiding behind 10,000 guys.... So it is hard to kill him.

Fixed it. Saruman is now hiding behind six armies instead.

A WW2 Major power Scenario with 7 players, I just spent an hour on so on the scenario. Being on the Allies team should be quite a easy win for the human player. I'm not sure how to turn it into Single player.

Its not 100% historically accurate, perhaps someoine can refurnish it for me?

So is mine okay, Mercer? Any feedback I would really appreciate? I'm not a regular scenario maker. I played with the bonus values to make the empires more equal, not sure if I should have done that.

I have a specific question, is it possible to hard-code AI for specific single-player challenges? Unfortunately single-player is not competetive since AI can be very easily abused. Unless we get a great AI in new warlight AI challenge (which I sincerely doubt) I think very small challenges (practical defense, attacking, move order, prediction etc.) would be much more beneficial, however it'd require an easy hardcoded AI. I'm thinking about simple stuff, like 2 turns of playing, and you organise move order so taht you get maximum results. The challenge could be measured in armies/income left in the end. Or, even better in my opinion from learning perspetive, very small 1 turn challenges. For example we give a specific situation with you and AI having similar income but you double border 1 bonus of AI. Now, we hard-code AI to defend in way A 30% of the time, way B 30% of the time and way C 40% of the time, then after someone inputs their ordeers we compute 3 scenarios and we calculate the result for the player based on a weighted average in all scenarios of AI income and troop stacks. I think i could easily build specific scenarios where it'd be very beneficial for the community to go through those challenges, because they'd actually benefit user's playing strength.

Most players would find such short, puzzle-like levels boring. I would.

Single player challanges are not meant to be educational, nor competitive. They have to make the whole game look appealing to a new player.

"Yep, https://www.warlight.net/Play?TemplateID=576906 is a winner."

Couple suggestions...
-> Allow advanced settings like Attack only ond Transfer only.
-> Slot A and Slot D I feel are too strong since they start out with an extra 8 armies.
-> And the wasteland in the center could do with a resizing... It throws another option into the small limited map if it were 10 armies...? That way its semi-reasonable to take it.

I can't beat this template unless I get Slots A or D...

In order to beat it all you have to do is not block the AIs from fighting each other.

WW2 TACTICS : STALINGRAD, KURSK and LENINGRAD
SITREP
------
SEPTEMBER 1942

Union forces are at a breaking point! German Wehrmacht advances with Finns in the north, the 6th army marches onto Stalingrad and German panzers blaze a path to Kursk.
It's up to the command expertise of Semyon Timoshenko ( A ), Georgy Zhukov ( B ), Konev ( C ), Konstantin Rokossovski ( D ) and Vasilevsky ( E ) to defend against the German blitzkrieg of CGE Mannerheim ( F ), Model ( G ), Leeb ( H ), Hermann Goering ( I ), King Horthy of Hungary ( J ) and Manfred von Manstein ( K ).
So what will it be, commander? Will the Red Flag fly over Moscow at the end of the day? Or will Russians speak German henceforth?

---------
EDIT : This scenario is meant to be lengthy and a challenge for players on both sides no matter the slot. It should take between 20 - 40 turns on average, but newer players might struggle and take longer than that, or even lose! But that'd mean they get the achievement for losing. Lol. Like my 2nd SinglePlayer Scenario ( Battle of the Bulge ), this scenario is not meant for completely new players. It would require some effort to switch around and pick the slot you want to play as. As also stated in Battle of the Bulge, my next scenario ( The War In The East ) will use different WarLight features and a preset start.

Gotta take advantage of the highest rated map in warlight.

Feel free to change to 8 players or whatever.

YOU NEED THIS! The map itself is built specifically for an individual scenario and has been balanced through many tests!

https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?TemplateID=499538

The causes of war between Iraq and Iran during the 80's are historic and deeply rooted in concerns over internal security, territorial boundaries, and achieving control over regional politics. This map and scenario combination allows players to step into the shoes of either Saddam Hussein or Ali Khamenei and lead their nation to victory.

The map itself has a small annotation that explains the scenario! This could be a great local deployment level!
