Is there any volume control on the site or is it just mute/unmute?

its just mute/unmute

there is a separate on/off control for normal and critical sounds on the UJS pages only, otherwise you just get the normal mute icon (or in case of forums and various other pages, no icon at all)

Ok that's what I thought, thanks. The sounds are pretty harsh and low quality, I thought they might be updated 10 years on. Volume control would help at least.
