I believe vacations are only a Classic feature. In recent AMAs, Fizzer has shown interest in removing them as a feature. Reason for removal is because most people have portable devices, but I’d argue that when you’re away you don’t have guaranteed internet access (no Wi-Fi/no signal) or have sufficient mobile data remaining without going over data limits.

Vacations end early when you commit a game, so as long as nothing commits (or auto-commits) you should be fine.

Note that far from all games respect vacations, so you might get booted...
