Quite frankly, unless you have personally sailed a complete circle around the globe, or been to the moon or something, none of us have CONCRETE evidence the Earth is round. We just choose to believe so, because we think that is logical and supposedly there is evidence towards it (all of which you have learned from fellow humans, who could be just as blind you are). This is not to say I think the Earth is flat. But I also believe that deciding off the bat that Evolution, or Creationism for that matter is true just because you think you have evidence is foolish.

I believe in God as the Creator because I have found that all evidence regarding evolution and creationism has come from humans, a race that does not have a history for treating itself well or the world it lives in. The Bible, written by the hands of humans. Textbooks, written by humans. Its the same thing across the board... It just comes down to what you CHOOSE to believe. I can't sit down and prove to anyone why I think God is real, any more than you could sit with me and prove without a doubt evolution happened. Wen people berate me and tell me they KNOW in their hearts that God doesn't exist... I just reply that they have even more blind faith than I do.

Does God exist? It comes down to:

Atheist (or other person who doesn't believe in God) "Prove God exists"
Christian (or other person who does believe in God) "Prove He doesn't"

I personally do not believe in God. When I was little, I went to church, and although I thought it was a bit of a waste, I did pray a couple of times. Nothing happened. I didn't get that new toy I wanted. So I stopped believing in God. I believe that Jesus is very real (there is very strong evidence Jesus existed) , but he was a person, not an envoy of something that lives beyond the clouds. We have flown to the moon, and probes have gone beyond Pluto, and we have seen NOTHING that is conclusive proof that God exists. Although it is entirely possible (absence of evidence does not equal evidence of absence) that God exists, there is as yet no universal proof.

There are many things that contradict evolution, for example finding fossils of animals quantified today, according to scientists Girls million years, or swimming to adopt a different genetic things do not make sense, for example, be an animal walks on four, then because of predators is open wings? This is ridiculous,,,, as long there is no real proof that this is just a theory,
I think there is a God who created the world, but genetics does not change, but only for example the person was a lot of sun, its genetic replication born a little more heat than the father, the body just a few genetic changes during life, but a normal person can not really distinguish.

What if God simply used evolution as a tool in his creation? Along with the big bang! Its frustrating that people don't want to compromise and say that the evidence we have pointing towards scientific facts and faith based worship cannot coexist. I would also like to point out one thing: the scientific method breaks down when gods come into play. To prove something you have to be able to duplicate your results in such a way that any person doing the same experiment the same way would get the same results. To achieve this God would have to shackle himself to be controlled by humans in some manner, such as appearing or doing miracles every time we wanted, which would pretty much make him not a god anymore. Not to mention, even if he did something like allow someone to walk on water on command we could study it, and figure out how it works, and duplicate it, thereby discovering a "natural phenomenon" and clouding the argument with the issue of whether it was God or physics. This whole debate, therefore, is not winnable or provable by either side. The best thing to do is just to believe what you choose to believe. If being an atheist makes you a better car salesman, be an atheist. If being religious brings happiness to your life, do it.

Why are you debating science or faith? They can't be mixed. Science explains lots of things based on evidences, but there are things that science can't explain, and there's where faith works. It is widely accepted by most Christians nowadays (at least out from America).

The educational system is what fails there, and that one is your biggest problem. At least it is my foreigner's view of USA.

Apes are much furrier than homo sapiens. They have a lower level of intelligence. They do not have a government body. They do not use each other to aid their own pursuits. They typically communicate well with each other,and have good groups when they live together. There's usually a well-established alpha that leads gorilla packs. They are not self aware of their intellect, and live in tune with nature. They do not question where they come from ; they live because the course of things demands it.

First of all, I don't want to ofend anybody with this post, but I'm a catholic and I believe in Science. I believe in Evolution theory and I also believe that there is a force who made evolution possible, some call it fait, others call it karma, other call it god. I obviously don't believe that god create the world and all the living creatures, but I defenitely belive that god had some sort of role on evolution.

Getting back to the original content of the topic, I must say that someday I'd like to work in USA. The problem is that they have a completely wrong ideia of the world (mainly of Europe). Europe is an incredibly advanced continent, probably the most advanced continent in the world (I'm sorry US citizens, you're not the only people living in America). For example: Russia and Ukraine is not only vodka and prostitutes, Italy is not only about pasta (remember their buildings), France is not only about gourmet food and today Germany has nothing to do with Hitler, in fact, I've a teacher who have been there and he says that Germany is one of the most civilized countries he has ever been on and I really apreciate Germans for having one of the best economies in Europe, even after they lost two wars.
And last but not least, and this is not only for the US citizens, PORTUGAL IS NOT LITTLE SPAIN! As you can imagine I'm Portuguese and I'm proud to say that. We don't depend on Spain for anything (although our economie is pretty bad and I recognize it). We don't use the same teams in sports, we even had several "wars" in the past, our fisrt King fought against his mother to gain the independence of Condado Portucalense so STOP CALLING US THAT!
