hi! i have more active games underway at the same time than i want to - is there a way to reduce the total volume of current games going on at once? i thought winning or surrendering a particular session would reduce the total but each completed game is just replaced by another...

(background context: when i first started playing warzone i struggled for a bit to find my way around the interface - i wanted to play single player games on custom maps but whenever i entered i'd be automatically entered into a new multiplayer game and i think my cookies settings made things worse. now i think i've fixed the cookies issue (it remembers my saved single player games) but in troubleshooting i ended up in a bunch of active games all at once)

metadata: i'm using firefox on a windows laptop and i have cookies and stuff permitted for warzone.com (now, but not at first)

you might be automatically invited to multiday qm games without you being aware, you can go to quickmatch and untick the corresponding box if that's the case.

Are these round-robin tournament games? If so, keep surrendering until you have played everyone.

It sounds like you might have QuickMatch starting games for you. Check the QuickMatch settings (top left corner), and uncheck “Invite me to Multi-Day Games.”

The first time you visit the Quickmatch page, you’re automatically invited to multi day games. There’s arrows pointing at the checkbox. The big “Play now” button is for realtime games. The most practical fix is to not auto invite in the first place.
