I don't know if this is the correct place for this subject, but am I the only one who wishes there was a way to do in game group chats? As of now it is either public, or private with only one on one conversation. I play a lot of the "diplomacy" themed multi-player games, and I can say for 100% certain that it would be immensely better if there was group chats where you could talk privately with only your allies. For example, I am playing one now where the theme is ancient Britain and Ireland, set in the immediate aftermath of the Viking invasions 890ad. I was chosen as a High King to rule loosely over all of Ireland, and it would be nice to talk with only the "lords" of my kingdom. What do other people think about this subject, and do the game creaters even get on these forums?
Well there is mod for it but for that (factions and another one whose name im forgetting), the creator needs a membership. You could use group mails too.
I am a member myself, so if I can create one that helps. That said, it would be better to just have it on the game standard. It wouldn't be fun or fair if only some could do that. This whole option would add so much depth to the game experience.
Thank you! I was trying to remember (unsuccessfully) where I had seen the mod option before, and it was driving me crazy lol. I still would like to see the game creaters make an update that includes the ability to create group chats in any game you play. Not sure if they monitor threads, but that would be a great addition that would actually significantly improve gaming experience in my opinion.
