As you may have already been informed, I was temporarily suspended on 06/04/2015 for violation of rules one and two which state that:
You shall be respectful to other players at all times.
Racial slurs, personal attacks, excessive profanity, or any other offensive language will not be tolerated.
Although I admit that I did violate rule 1 in that I was extremely disrespectful to another group of warLight players, I deny violating rule 2. The reason is that offensive language as a definition means the use of a "swearword" which is deemed so, in any language. The word I used, which cannot be repeated for political reasons, does not, to my knowledge, appear in any American or British versions of the English dictionary. I had been using the English language in the forum thread I was reported for. This proves that the "Report" system is open to the digression of the person handling the Report. I have multiple times reported the group of players in question for using "excessive profanity" and violations of other rules have been noted by myself in the display of "sexual jokes" (a violation of rule 3 of the rules imposed by advertisers) with no obvious consequences.
I understand that sometimes I express my political views in a very confrontational way, though I always remain respectful at all times to the members of the group I am targeting if the wording does not target them as a political group or entity. I also do not provoke reaction on purpose, the exception being my thread in the Off-topic forum which talked about a certain community which I described as a "problem" for the rest of society. I always react only to personal provocations, in the case for which I was suspended from WarLight, it was the group's provocative language and actions towards my clan which caused my reaction in the form of a thread which violated rule 1.
It is true, as has earlier been pointed out to me by another player, that should Fizzer the Creator have supported my side in the conflict, it would have been negative for his image due to my controversial political views. I wish to point out, though, that he has caused a large section of the community against him by supporting the group who reported me who are considered by many to be the "troll clan". It might have been better for him to have taken a moderate stance and either left both of us off with a severe warning, or punished both parties. He could have taken into consideration the fact that my reaction was not unprovoked. That is why I suggest a more unbiased approach. Maybe Fizzer could make a "Report committee" of say five people he trusts including himself to figure out whether or not the person is guilty?
My second suggestion, which I shall post in this same thread to avoid spamming, is the option for the creator of a thread to withdraw his thread. Sometimes a thread might get out of hand, or people might target the creator with negative remarks. This option would also lessen, to some extent, the attacks many have been receiving in their threads lately across the forums from the "spam clan".
Please let me know what you think, and please don't be a knob. Fizzer is watching you, and I will report every tiniest violation of the rules.
