Despite how the media plays it up our police are not going around murdering black people for no reason on a daily basis. However, media outlets only care to make a big deal about it if it's white on black, any other combination does not stir the pot enough.

There's VERY little police brutality in the United States against blacks, considering 40 million blacks, and only a half a dozen cases that make the news every year.

And actually, police brutality against whites/hispanics is more common.
