So, TF2 was a huge success in many ways. If you hadn't heard about it, it is a currently F2P first person shooter, although it's not your average one, involving teamwork and class synergy. Moving on, I made this forum to (hopefully) to talk about current TF2 issues and upgrades, new big updates like the Love & War update, and the supposed new big update that's about to come any time, the Spy vs. Engie Update.
So, does anyone have any idea if Valve will add Australium Festives next Smissmass? What do you think will happen in the Spy vs. Engie update?

I can see why many think it's bad, but I like the stylistic change - and the actual gameplay is so much better and balanced than TF1.

I don't like tf2. I play it because sometimes it helps blow off steam though. Get it? No? Okay.
Anyway, it just doesn't fit right when you just want a class that can aim and shoot properly. Instead, you have just a random mess. It's too balanced because the classes all equally suck.

I think you want the sniper, noscope. Does around 50 damage without the scope, and you have the machine pistol for close quarters. You also have the spy, whose weapons are weaker, but you have invisibility and disguise. And then you have the scout - somewhat powerful close quarter weapons and speed. And then you have the Heavy - very powerful close quarter weapons, high health, slow speed.

spies can be pretty obvious though Pyro all the way!

I use the icicle - it gives me enough time to get away. If you're good, you shouldn't be close to pyros anyway.

used to play on the original team fortress as engineer :)

don't think it makes much sense to have this thread on the warlight forums though.
