I wonder if it is possible to make it visible when any private notes exists on a player. Blacklisted players have that little "B" so you can see them easy, but who would go through all players in every game and open the field manually to find out if he ever made any notes on them?

The feature is pretty useless at the moment.

Perhaps a 'Private Notes' link in the mini-profile that pops up when you click the player's name.
I don't use PNs because they are too much of a pain.

Yeah this is a good idea. I currently only use the notes feature as an accessible place to save my friend's passwords so I can cover for them if their about to get booted.

I use Private Notes for blacklisted players. I could forget why I blacklisted them, and then take someone who is a horrible player off my blacklist without knowing. If I have private notes, I check blacklisted players to see what I have written about them at the time.

Associated with this idea (which is a good one), we also need Team Chat for 1v1 games. The ability to add notes in game would be fantastic!

True, but the number one place that this would be helpful is in ladder games and they do not use this feature.
