Well balanced. This map delivers what it promises. I really like the concept of your home territory not being expendable. Along those lines I was thinking about a map where every territory is a negative bonus - unless you control your home territory. I may experiment with this idea. Nice work.

played this map twice - each time the player spawning in the upper left island won.
could be by accident ...who knows.
Overall still interessting map - just not 100% sure if the map is really 100% balanced.

Excellent map. I really like the bases and the reward point system that relies upon holding your base. Great game for a multiplayer game with friends.

The starting positions are slightly unbalanced. The lower left corner has it rather easy to defend, as the path to get from neighbouring islands to the base is long. (It can't attack easily, for the same reason.)
Maybe try it with mirrored/rotated groups of islands, to have symmetry...?

The four main Islands are unfortunately not topologically equivalent. For example, it takes only two moves from NE to invade NW base.
