The reason I was asking because somehow I (as well as few others I won't mention) used "choke point" term to refer to both territories that :

1) block the passage, connect to one territory that you need to go far around if you want to reach it other way, (B, C, D, E in some situations)

and

2) are connected to multiple territories, give positional advantage threatening several territories (A, E, to some extent F, Georgia, Hong-kong, Congo)

I'm not very smart I guess.

So, if 1 are choke points, how do we call 2 again?
