I'd like to help by impartially resolving any tie breakers.

In each 4 person robin, you want two people advance to the champion league, third place to go to Europa league, and last to eliminated, right?

Hanky I think tie breakers shouldn't be resolved by a board of other players, I think just by another game would be the best solution? Also I think the plan is that the fourth placed player will go to Europa as well because there are no extra players coming through leagues into Europa. Also it gives everyone more matches.

Just looked at the participants list, I think Hedja might've been missed off - he said he'd join right before me but doesn't seem to be there. (and he edited his later post changing his mind about not going through qualifiers if that's why he's not there).
Just thought I'd check so no-one's missed out

You can compete. Anyone is free to try out. If you don't think your good you will probably be seeded in E or F. Meaning you will need to qualify for the group stages. (Where the elites are)

Hi, i do not think that i am that good, but i would like to try to qualify for the group stage. If it is possible of course. :)

If it's a tie between only 2 players, that's easily resolved by which one won head-to-head in the tournament. If it's a tie between 3 players, making those three each play another game between each other could again result in a 3 way tie. My suggestion is to determine the winner by whoever won in the fewest number of turns.

Let's say player A wins all three of his games and players B, C and D each win 1 game and lose the other 2. Player A obviously advances, then we need to decide who else gets to advance, so we'll look at the number of turns the other games took.

Player B beat player C in 15 turns
Player C beat player D in 18 turns
Player D beat player B in 12 turns

So player D advances. If player A loses all three of his games and B, C and D each lose 1 game and win the other two, whoever lost their game fastest would go to Europa.

If there's tie in turn number, then I guess a tie-breaker game would be called for.

Luck (Assuming 0% WR Strat 1v1)

I do not think that using turns lost is a good idea, as if people know that that is how games are decided then people will drag out losses for as long as possible. Same with the other suggestions above. Instead I think replays are the best way around it, to keep it as fair as possible although it could add quite a bit of time onto the group stages
