History in a nutshell with Belgian Gentleman - session 2

lesson 6

"Everytime when the US gouverment is involved , it's a conspiracy."

9/11 = conspiracy ! Obama is also an conspiracy ! ISIL controlled by the American gouverment ! Illuminati = real !Ameria is run by aliens ! (yes some people really believe this)

lesson 7

"Poland is not loved."

.. but only good for Anschlüß in next coming 4th reich.

lesson 8

"England doesn't give a fuck about its colonies"

The partition of India and Israel, the creation of Iraq, Scotland. Britian ruins it all!

lesson 9

"Switzerland always remains neutral"

Even if it does have a plus on its flag. It's neutral.

lesson 10

"Alexander the Great was Macedonian in Ancient Greece."

Alexander the great wasn't neither a Bulgarian nor a Serbian but a Macedonian who spoke Ancient Greek. Bulgarians/Serbians only really appeared after the fall of the Roman Empire and at the time of Alexander these ethnicities didn't even exist yet. I don't know where dumbasses get their actual information from but this was certainly one of the most stupidest stories I ever heard.

lesson 11

"Cat pictures can stop terrorism"

AHW ! HOW CUTE!! We don't care about Daesh anymore! Instead check these cute cat pics I have! :3

Not true. After the indipendance of the US the Britians learned how to treat their colonies well.

(1) Scotland was never a colony and (2) Israel, Iraq and over 90% of India were not under the control of an independent England. Most of the British Empire was taken after the treaty of union between England and Scotland. Only the places shown in red were part of the English Empire.

"Switzerland always remains neutral"

Even if it does have a plus on its flag. It's neutral.

Actually, they've signed a treaty with Liechtenstein which commits Switzerland to defending Liechtenstein should Liechtenstein be attacked.

"Cat pictures can stop terrorism"

No they don't, I hate cats!

England's role within the United King has always been dominant. I'm not talking if England was independent or not. Therefore the map you show me is not needed.

Yeah I know about Switserland but they declared themselve neutral forever.

@Clement At least we can agree on something! Scotland was not an English colony

But, your map shows Nova Scotia as part of the English Empire. It was part of the Scottish Empire!

Additionally, the English population effectively "ruled over" the Scottish population, despite being equal kingdoms. As a result of this, the English people were more responsible for the British Empire's atrocities than the Scottish people. The Scots were far more responsible for the CSA & KKK than British Empire atrocities.
