I would find CLANS more interesting if:
1) there was a memeber counter - at the Clan page
2) there was a "points counter" - at the Clan page
3) there were "Top 10 Clans" and "Top 10 Clans in last 30 days" at the "Clans" page - fist one shows Average points per clan member (clans with 1 member should not be counted!), second one shows summary of clan points increase in last 30 days in average.
4) clan members would get +10% points if they playe a team game and all players in your team are from the same clan (something like a perk for spending those 15 bucks ;)
5) any of your ideas....?

#1- member counter, isn't there one already?
#2-i suppose you could use it to find out whos active and whos not, but really i dont think such info is neccesary
#3- bad idea. This would be just like the points page for each individual player, will not give you much info on a player's skill. I'll expect hardcore but very bad clans like {warlighters} to top things like that...
#4- I like this idea- sort of an extra incentive to pay the 15 dollars, and also encourages more clan spirit
#5-maybe more functions on the clan profile page, such as a button like 'Request to join clan' or 'send clan leader a message'

yeah, top 10 clans should not be based on points (which is against all players on warlight, and could be dumb farming games). Should be based on clan vs clan wins somehow.

There needs to be a clan ladder

While I don't really agree with your suggestions, as I think they're a bit unnecessary, I would like to ad a couple things that would be nice to have:

- different ranks within the clan (not just a tag next to them on the clan page) where you would be able to use a different icon for the different ranks to identify them.

- better functions for inviting to a tournament, like being able to click a button and invite a whole clan, or a rank-grop within the clan.

- a third tier of members, between general and admin, where they could invite/kick members, but not change permissions or disband the clan or anything of the like.

Clan ladder would be very enticing.


Also a formalised clan chat. Perhaps with notifications at the top for new chat much like new mail.

Also perhaps a simple thing like making the clan forum more accessible. Like having it on the front page alongside the member list.

Yeah I agree with the ranks, as the 101st itself has a ranking structure of all the ranks from Private trainee to General etc. At the moment we use signs on the title desc. Like Pvt and Gen. But I would like a icon for each player, with there insignia.

I would also like to see:
•Official clan wars or something like that, showing who the clans at war with and alliance.
•Some sections in a clan. For example some clans have Elite groups like the 101st, with it's Lynx elite group.
•Clan leagues 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 etc.
• Thinking of more........

Would be nice if the clan forum showed up under http://warlight.net/Forum/ for each clan. it takes a few steps to dig into the forum.
