I personally am very slow on the 1v1 ladder and I know in some opponents will clam I'm stalling I don't want a Watchdog looking over everyone and reporting to the forums only spoiling little shits like Alhazi deserve this treatment..
In very extreme cases of stalling you can report players for 1v1 ladder stalling.. Has Alhazi crossed that line? It's a shame and shows his cowardness of not coming here and admitting he's stalling..
In my opinion, 3 days is too long for the 1v1 ladder. If you're really good enough players to be battling for the top spot on the ladder, you should be able to take your turns in 2 days or less.
Was Alhazi stalling or not...well, does a month and a half sound too long for a ladder game? And after 4 turns, my income was 12, his was 5...that type of game...and he didnt surrender, until we finished, his income was 5, mine was 38...you be the judge, lol.
It seems that some players get to the top of the ladder and are quite errogant. I also beat Ragnarok recently when he was ranked number 1, and he played fast, but criticized my play via chat, and was quite nasty about losing...and I am in a game with USA Biches, have him beat as well, and he is quite slow...plays once every 2 or 3 days...

This could easily become a problem, since skill has nothing to do with time available to play the game. If you for example don't have access to the game in the weekends, you are likely to be booted because of that if the boot time was 2 days. If you lose internet access for a day or two, that could also lead to you being booted. I think 3 days is a good amount of time, as it is a lot less likely that you'll be booted because of unsuspected RL stuff, and it allows you to actually take a few days off from WL every week without worrying about being booted. It does have the nasty side effect of allowing stallers, but it's not like people couldn't stall if the boot time was 2 days, it just wouldn't be as effective.
