My Bootrate in the Moment is 2.9%.
But only because of over 3000 played Games. My Bootrate for Realtime Games (only) will be certainly about 30%.

It takes quite a long time to get a game in the realtime ladder. I real like this gamestyle, and often try to get a game there. Sometimes the Mobil rings or Doorbell and ... booted.

I know that i do not have this Problem alone. I don´t like all the boots i get from there, and nearly stop playing it.

To get booted if you are away in the first turn - sure!
But raise the bootrate every time when you get booted there?

What do you think?

Have the same problem here. One solution is playing during nighttime. I am pretty sure no one will disturb you during night.

yeah, i only join last minute (and stay on the page waiting for the game to pop-up) to avoid forgetting about it.

thank goodness with Muli's script there is a countdown, so it's much easier to tell when the games are about to get assigned (it's always on the clock multiples of 5 minutes in case you didn't know: 00 05 10 15 20 25 30 etc), so 30 seconds later you either have your game or i leave the ladder and go do something else and maybe try again 4 minutes later.

i would also really appreciate a checkbox to let you automatically leave the ladder once you got a game, most of the times i only want to play 1 quick serious game, and then go do something else ending up forgetting about warlight altogether.

another checkbox to open the game immediately once you get it would also be cool. getting the sound is ok but i much rather have the page change to the game and see it on my tabs with an asterisk (warlight game waiting on my commit), in case i'm on another tab of the browser doing something else. i just find the sound obnoxious.

been talking Muli into implementing these. should probably just get off my ass and implement them myself, it's doable with javascript.

would be better if Fizzer implemented these enhancements directly ofcourse.

ps user voicing everything doesn't help at all - it just spreads out everyone's opinion.

A similar scenario could be created in US Politics:

Scenario A:

Trump 60%
Clinton 40%

Scenario B:

Trump 30%
Cruz 30%
Clinton 40%

And that is why the American voting system is terrible.

Although, with the real time ladder, I think that it would be helpful if their was an option in settings to let you have an option of leaving the ladder whenever you click the link to the game.

We're not trolling, first past the post is EXTREMELY flawed. For example you can win with 25%+half the vote of an additional district+1 vote for every 2 districts+1 even in the best first past the post voting system. In the US its 22%. Here its a bit below 25%.
