I'd rather sign a petition to get you to go to an actual political forum instead of littering the site of a children's board game.

There is no purpose of the off-topic forum other than to post content that is not sexual(or especially gruesome), and non-related to Warlight. This is not littering, this is using the OT forum as it's meant to be used.

That being said, this petition is ludicrous. If we went by this, we should try George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, and Harrsion for war crimes and there images should be struck from public displays. In times of extreme war and pressure, enemies of the welfare of a nation ( blowing things up, killing people, physical threat of extreme danger or annihilation etc. ) must be imprisoned. Do terrorists have some basic rights? Yes they do but they forfeited that right when they attacked or conspired to attack America and America is completely justified to deal out justice. Liberals love to point out the evils of this prison, and there are many. But beware to the men that forgets what his enemies are capable of and what they have done


The Taliban and al-Qaeda murdered American citizens, brought down the world trade center, and everyone who has continued to conspire with them should remain In that prison. Are there people who shouldn't be in there? Yes! And we should have a more tight and rigorous justice system to take care of that but shutting down the prison and releasing many of the lower level scum is just shameful. My main point? In the end, you are fighting for the terrorists in that prison who deserved everything they got

To be frank, I don't think what George Washington and Abraham Lincoln (haven't heard of the other 3) was terrible for the times. +lack of evidence. As for WW, FDR, and Harrison, if they did terrible things, yes, strike from public shows.

But this is mostly roots to America (disputed-ly, but still, you've to admit that if America totally stayed out of the Middle East, the extremists wouldn't have a particular problem with America).

That said, I don't think the Guantánamo Camp is one of the worst prisons in history (from what's known; little; but still). Maybe one of the most incriminating based on no premise, but not one of the worst.

Also, I bet every American who signs this will be put on the "suspicious" list.

1. The new World Trade Center is WAY better looking.
2. You know what's killed more than 9/11 did? Vietnam. China. USSR (which is now like nineteen countries). Yourselves. North Korea. Canada. Mexico. Spain. The Phillipines. Germany, several thousand times over. (even with the added deaths from both the Iraqi and Afghan wars, several of these countries have still killed more, which is at least 70K people).

My example is extreme? So is yours for Obama.

Also Xpt, Thats like saying Hitler never would have messed with America if we hadn't have declared on him. America was usually justified in there actions, usually. Unfortunately, even though I hate the term, the end justifying the means is a good way to put it in this situation. There's no way we would not have gotten in the ME, it eventually had to happen

Try him for war crimes? America hasn't signed the Geneva Conventions, so the sentence would not have to be upheld by the US.

Most of the people who actually hate Obama, hate the International Criminal Court even more. This won't gain any traction.
