Well, as many have said, it depends on the template. I've only been on Warlight since mid January, but in my experience, the best player I've ever faced is Jessent. I've played a handful of games with him and he's beaten me every time--and I've been on Warlight longer than he has. I have personally never witnessed him lose a game.

"Scorched Earth", I have a higher winning rate in 1 vs 1 games than you, you only have 55 %. And I have more than 66 %.

And secondly, the "rush time" template is very strategic, but since you don't believe that, that only means that you're the one that's not strategic and you're a loser.

Semicedevine plays such games called "casual". And 1ag1 rates are no way to determine who is better - many games are unbalanced, and you're bound to get 50% winrate on Duel.

Yes, my 2,000+ rating on the 1v1 ladder surely shows way less than my winrate. Same goes for my recent RT tournament win where I took out the rank 1 on the ladder in the finals. You're a joke player farming wins on a template no one but you plays.

Full dist is absolutely not "strategic".

1v1: 70 / 82 (85%)

Account has been used in several tournaments, and plays vs. top players fairly often. Stomps the shit out of your 67% 1v1.

So, yes, I can win 95-100% of my games when I give a shit about winning and am not playing top-tier players. When I play top-tier players (ie. people much better than you) I indeed win around 50% of my games.

Seriously, there is no way to find the "Best" WL player. It might be possible to find the best player of a given template (read: ladder) ... but then the best players needs to play there facing each other multiple times.

Oh, I'm not claiming to be the best, or even one of the best, just way better than the guy who claimed:

"I am a very strategic player, especially on a 1 vs 1 game. I may even be one of the best players."

Depends what best is. 1994 is the highest I have ever "deserved". As in, I had 1994 when ranked.

2008 on this that shows as best was JSA. The 2029 that shows now is me playing. The account that peaked at 1994 though had over 2200 before it got ranked, but I don't consider unranked ratings to be accurate enough to mean anything. So I'd say 1994 is still my peak, since this 2029 could drop below that before I finish my 20th game.

My 1v1: 715 / 796 (90%) looks good; and still I'm not a good single player.
I don't play in ladder; and a loose against better player.
So % in 1v1 doesn't mean anything unless proved in ladder..
