Basically what I'm saying is what is the Islam view point of this argument from the Christian church in a social media platform which is modern and not outdated? When you see quotes and then look at ISIS this is where the hate on Islam starts.

Every religion has bad and good quotes, the truth is that you probably shouldn't follow any religion of the book, but saying that one of them (Islamism) is a problem and that the others (Christianism, Judaism) aren't, it's a parcial thought.

If they follow every word of the Quran then they are not peaceful. I believe that if ANY Religion promotes violence or hate against someone for his/her beliefs, lifestyle, or sexuality, should not be allowed to exist, if your god demands this then your god is evil, not good. The say Religion is on a decline, the internet is where Religions come to dies....all apart of gods plan, so all the non believers get sent to hell?

well thanks team gun and noglas =) this really need to stop and people need to use their brain to judge what is right and what is not and most of those versus were in war situation like if someone hurt you you only can hurt him with the same no more or less and if you forgivve him would be better

It could also imply that Allah is only with Muslims who follow the "righteous" and "good" word of the Quran. Just saying.

I think the problem is that more often than not, Islam has been cross-contaminated with political ideologies which produces a toxic mix. The thing to really consider is can that cross-contamination be completely removed from the actual interpretation of the Quran for current and future generations of Muslims...that's not such a clear cut answer.

Besides, that, that whole situation is messed up. One of my best friends is Muslim, and is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Just look into the history of 'Al Quaeda' and 'isis'...it has as much to do with islam as the syrian war has to do with human rights. Treat all terrorists with what they deserve...total apathy (apart from to any vitms). Ignore the events as much as possible, change nothing about your lives and carry on. I mean if the world cared about death tolls and protecting the sanctity of life, then sub saharan africa could do with some of those terrorist trillions. Islam isnt the issue!
