It does seem that if there were a radical armed army of Christians going around setting off bombs, raping and beheading people in the Name of God and/or Jesus, other Christians, that is, the sane ones, would rise up in such vociferous numbers that the noise of protest would be deafening. I do not hear a deafening noise of protest from sane muslims around the world. I hear, if not silence, something close to it. It's hard not to think that regular Muslims quietly condone what their radical brothers are doing.
I actually am scared America will become Ameristan. As Churchill said, no matter the qualities of individual Moslems, they hurt society. I am a proud Islamophobe - I am afraid of Islam; it must be stopped from destroying the West. That does no mean I hate Muslims, though.

I guess you can interpret this the way you want. As I see, it's the explanation of how religion tears appart humans, to defend ideas that do only exist in the purpose of separating men.
How many religious civil wars happened in the history of the world? How many people died in vain to defend those ideas? How many more will?
Organised religion does only serve one purpose: the one of dominating and conquering the neighboring religions. And it has been used politically to those ends as well. Rich countries were invaded by noblemen in the name of religion, when it was really just for greed and power.
