I wish I could come up with an example of where i did it but.... eh. My memory is crap.

Speaking of egregious mistakes, my first game in this league ended up being the game that determined the winner of Group K1 (graemes/Rooob). I didn't know it was WR and assumed I could do my normal Australia-on-turn-2 stuff. That was my only loss! What a terrible game.

grona has beaten Mirror, which keeps him alive, but he'll need help. If Mirror fails to win both his final games against FlyingBender and Krzychu, both grona and Mirror will relegate. Otherwise a tiebreaker tournament will be needed between FlyingBender, grona, and Mirror.

After a number of surprising late results, Beren is in position to win the group, Bjarke loses 3 straight to finish last, and Jefferspin picks a terrible time to retire as he was poised to promote to group A! This means beren will definitely be promoted to A next season. And given that two still need to promote to A, I'm all of a sudden in a great position. If I'm able to beat beren, then I promote. if I lose, then there will be a three way tiebreaker - among players with losing records! - that will decide the promotion.

So I find out the reason why Gustave is doing so poorly is because he's not even around! Cat Juggernaut, though, will be removed for booting in 3 of his 4 losses. tomjh fights valiantly in his final games, but his early loss to kirdol ends up giving kirdol the group win. Congrats!

Now there are two concerns you should be aware of...

1. I am going on vacation soon! I'll be gone for two weeks starting this Saturday, June 11. What does this mean for the league? Well, I won't be able to provide updates and I won't be able to make tiebreaker tournaments (or participate in them!) Sorry about that!

2. It occurred to me that the tiebreaker kind of fails when boot losses are taken into account. So perhaps tiebreaking should be in this order: a. head to head, b. tiebreaker tournament (if there's time), c. number of games not booted, d. fizzer's metric. What do you all think of this?

you probably will. Lower divisions usually promote more then 2 people

the extra tiebreakers are only used if for some reason the tiebreaker tournament isn't made, or it's still tied after the tiebreaker tournament.

Ollie is also right about the promotion. But we will see.

Also if group B ends up with 3 way 2-3 tie for second I think I'll just promote group C winner to A, cause i don't like the idea of promoting players with losing records. What do you guys think about group B situation?
