Ruthless and I both offered to make tourney to his specifications, but he wasn't interested. He just wanted to whine about how the poor man is always getting punished by "The Man," and decided not to take us up on the offer.
After reading the first ten posts I simply stopped reading.
Obviously, none of you understood the fact that my message was not at all a complaint, it was actually quite the opposite. All I was saying is that I miss playing with friends on here, and I'm sure a lot of people here feel the same way. This post was about companionship.

@OneEyedJack I was not offended by your language, my friends and I use inapropriate language all the time on here, but thats in private chat or games between just us. I was just suggesting that you watch what you post, becuase (Qaddafi) it could get you banned.
getting back to your origional post, I don't feel that this is the case for most people. In fact, there are 9 people in my clan, and we always play together. We also get along well with the [WM] clan, who has 9 mimbers, so we play frequently with them. Sure a couple of my friends have left, but there are still a lot of people outside of these two clans that I play with at least semi-frequently. maybe you should join a clan? Your welcome to join ours :) Just invite me to a game so we can chat if you want to join.

Returning to Jack's original post for a moment: I've been around WL for a bit, and I'll wager that many 'old-timers' (if I may include myself in that crowd) shy away from the open games forum. Among my own reasons why is a preference primarily to play other 'old-timers.' I am also reluctant to join matches created by players I don't know, because too many players attempt to rig the settings unfairly (e.g., making an obscure bonus worth 100 players). Of course this can be seen in the settings before joining, but I grew tired of having to watch out for such matches.
I don't know. I love the real-time games but I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the noobs joining my games and the games I join. Some of them either won't listen at all or just disappear mid game. Every now and then I end up playing with some of the people I used to play with often but now I consider myself lucky if I play with someone who has at least 100 games experience and a boot record under 10%. A lot of them also won't vote to end in a game where you would usually vote to end. My blacklist grows each day.
