Well this is really helping.

If someone says something specifically racist/offensive, report them if you want, and someone will look into it.

If someone is passively racist/offensive, ignore it and be the bigger man (or woman).

Don't bring it up on the forum because all that is really happening is constant arguing about it.

i didnt spent time readign everything that was written here, but we have to understand we r playing a war game.... we r sybolically killing units.... I guess teh reference to hitler is more than adequate

That may be true for Adolf, but in combi-nazi-on (combination =D) with Hitler it's banned almost everywhere. I once heared a story of a boy who's parents were neo-nazi's, and he was named Adolf Hitler. His sister was called Aryan Nation. Now the parents are arrested.

I don't see any problem with Adolf Hitler. Surely we should have freedom of speech? If you want to ban "Adolf Hitler", you are banning freedom of speech, something Hitler would do. I understand some people hate Hitler, but well, he's dead, the guy who's playing warlight isn't him.

But this game is an even better reason to blacklist Adolph Hitler.

1) Crappy Player
2) Crappy Picks (No Backups)
3) Crappy Communications (Never responded on chat, nor did anything to alleviate #2 by transferring his troops in my bonus)
4) Quits (This should be number one.)

This game needs some better people, not promoting people like this.

John, not everybody is immediately good at the game, you can't be angry with someone because they aren't at your level. As for lack of communication, that blows. I also hate this. But you might consider that not everyone on Warlight speaks English, that might have played a role in his lack of speaking

I know warlight isn't really the place for politics and religion but since Hitler was raised here's some food for thought.

Churchill is regarded as one of Britain's fnest ever leaders yet he personally ordered the carpet bombing of germany that killed tens of thousands of women and children. It is deemed as OK because he was fighting an evil we all view as worthy of elimination and justify this act with this mentality.

What few history lessons ever tell you is how a far greater genocide was committed by the Jews who slaughtered tens of millions of Christians, 6 million in Ukraine alone and estimates of between 30 million to 60 million in the starvation/labour camps in the gulag and Hitler identified the Jews as an evil in a similar way to how we identify the Nazis as evil.

PS: I am not trying to justify any act of murder that has been carried out or suggest Hitler is a hero or anything of the sort, merely that the west has for decades painted an inaccurate picture of what really happened during that time. We celebrate Churchill in fighting evil yet he sided with Stalin who killed tens of millions more than Hitler did and was quite possibly responsible for Hitler marking the Jews for extermination in the first place.

Evil often begets evil. Hate often begets hate. Perhaps Churchill and Hitler were both victims of this cycle and we shouldn't be too hasty to judge.
