I'm going to begin the creation of a map and I have some questions.
1. Do always have to use 1000*1000px document? If yes why? 2. If I add a background (Ie a real world map and then I add territories on it), won't it be blurred when zooming ingame? 3. Is the set of bonuses and territories meant to be done on WarLight Editor? 4. Do you know a good tutorial for map development in video?

2. Warlight doesn't handle background pictures. They will become invisible at best, and make the file too big for uploading at worst. You need to convert the image to vectors if you want it to show up in WarLight. Vectors never get blurry, no matter how far you zoom in.

There's multiple sites that do it, but Inkscape has a built-in option as well. Select the image and click Path -> Trace Bitmap... That opens up a screen with various options you can play with. Remember, the more layers, the better the quality, but also the bigger the file size.
