  • Krzysztof of Outlaws defeats Grizzlis of ONE!. Grizzlis gets Greenland as his only safe income and is therefore doomed from the start. Masters (1) get three critical 1v1 wins (especially in Strat ME where they are positioned to win the entire tournament). They have a great mid-week record of 3-0, which translates to a net gain of 9 points.

ONE! (2) do modestly mid-week with one 2v2 win partially offsetting their two 1v1 losses. They have a net loss of 2 points as a result.

Lynx (3) complete no games during my 10 day break.

French (4) do well mid-week, with a net gain of 3 points courtesy of Wazz's victory over Buns in AE. They move up to fourth place as a result

Turtles (5) have a rather poor mid-week update with a 0-2 record in 1v1s, including a direct loss to their current rivals French (which translates to a net loss of 6 points). They trade places once again with French.

Outlaws (6) have a mid-week record of 1-2, which isn't so bad statistically. However, since they're fighting to avoid relegation, every win for them counts. Which also means that if their net point change is negative, this hurts them much more than any other clan at this point. This is the case for their mid-week results; Outlaws have a net loss of 4 points this week due to their loss in China, however they even out in 1v1 games with Krzysztof both winning and losing a 1v1 game.

Blitz (7) is almost guaranteed relegation now; if Turtles and French get one more win or Blitz loses one more game, Blitz will officially be in the bottom two of Division A (as Turtles and French's TP will have passed Blitz's MP ceiling). Blitz go 1-1 in 1v1 games, with linberson giving them their only current podium finish so far.

There weren't as many games completed as I anticipated during my 10 day hiatus - I hope everyone missed me though. No unexpected changes in clan performances since games are starting to slow down again. French haven't even completed a single game on Phobia despite it starting almost a month ago...





The "Horse Race" graph is weird for me (although I do prefer Times New Roman, I don't like change), so unless this is a permanent change, I will update the screenshot of the graph when it goes back to normal for me.

Masters (1) get their second 1v1 and total tournament win, and continue to shred through the competition. They pick up an astonishing 3 points (a very important 3 points) since Wednesday.

ONE! (2) have no completed games this week.

Lynx (3) have no completed games this week.

Turtles (4) make up some of their lost ground since Wednesday by getting a critical 2v2 win. They now have a net loss of only 2 points throughout the entire week, which pushes their Points Contested Percentage back above French.

French (5) lose a 1v1 game and therefore have no net change this week (as they won a 1v1 game by the time I did my last Wednesday update). They shift back down to fifth place.

Outlaws (6) complete no games, and thus have a net loss of 4 points in total this week.

Blitz (7) are now officially relegated, due to their last loss allowing both French and Turtles' Total Points to eclipse Blitz's Max Points ceiling. My condolences to Blitz, but I'm sure you will do well in B. I heard Jefferspin misses you.

What's the point of doing a weekly summary when two games finished? Congrats to whoever I congratulated above (was it me?), and screw both Turtles and French for making me change their places in my text table every update.

However, Masters had an extremely strong picking advantage (and are not ones to throw winning games) so it appears that the outcome wouldn't have changed anyways. French finish with a nice 4-2 record on Guiroma, while Masters move to tie with Outlaws in 3rd place. However, while 2nd - 4th place can still alter dramatically depending on how the last remaining games on Guiroma finish, 5th - 7th place are finalized and have no dependency on how the remaining games play out.

(who coincidentally are also undefeated, but that's probably more due to how slow they are). Meanwhile, French fall into 5th place with an overall losing record of 2-3. Masters (1) have another excellent week beating up on French. They have a win on all of the 2v2 tournaments, in addition to a 1v1 win on Greece, which skyrockets their TP by 15 points.

ONE! (2) have a big loss on EU, but slightly make up for it with a win on Strat ME. They have a total mid-week net loss of 2 points.

Lynx (3) lose in a surprisingly non-boot andy game. They have a total mid-week net loss of 3 points due to the fact they completed no other games since Saturday.

Turtles (4) have a bad mid-week record, with 2 losses (one in China and the other a boot in Volcano Island) with no wins to make up for them. They have a mid-week net loss of 7 points.

French (5) have a mixed team-format record, with a critical 3v3 win partially offsetting the brutal 2v2 beating they got from Masters since Saturday. Their two 2v2 losses in FE and Guiroma, subtracted from the 5 points they got for defeating ONE! in EU, bring their total mid-week change to a net loss of 3 points.

Outlaws (6) have a 1v1 loss on Greece, but nothing else has substantially changed for them. Like Lynx, they have a net mid-week loss of 3 points due to no other games completed since Saturday.

Blitz (7) have actually a decent week for once, with an overall 2-1 record in 1v1 games. This brings them to a net gain of 3 points, which (funnily enough) is the second best mid-week record.

  • andy903 of Lynx defeats Edge of Outlaws in the "Game of the Week" (I haven't actually done "Game of the Week" before, but figured that since I was writing so much in these updates, the natural thing to do would be to write more). Both played very well and, as a result, the game is very fun to watch; Edge makes some very nice late-game moves while andy demonstrates what he can actually do when he doesn't get booted. Eventually, with andy's income safe and threatening 9 of Edge's income, Edge decides he is at too much of a disadvantage to continue. With this win, andy breaks his 4 game boot streak and receives his first win. Edge gets his first loss and falls from first place as he is no longer undefeated.
    
  • 125ch209 of French continues his bootfest into Phobia, booting on picks against Edge of Outlaws and on Turn 1 against Wini of Blitz. Even more unfortunate, with andy getting his first win on Phobia, 125 currently becomes the only win-less player, which automatically drops him into last place. Ouch. Edge and Wini both get free wins, with Edge racking up his second win on Phobia to tie with Jz in second place, and Wini breaking out of his own tie with Turkish (Turtles) to claim third place all to himself.

Masters (1) get one more win for the week to finish with a net gain of 18 points. They are 2 points away from officially receiving a podium finish, and 33 points away from winning CL9.

ONE! (2) have no completed games since Wednesday, so they finish the week with their mid-week net loss of 2 points.

Lynx (3) even out with andy winning a game to offset his loss on Strat ME earlier in the week.

Turtles (4) both win and lose a 1v1 game, so they have nothing to worsen or improve their poor mid-week net loss of 7 points.

French (5) suffer horribly from 125's boots; in addition to their mid-week net loss of 3 points, they additionally drop 12 points from the four boots by 125 to net a total loss of 15 points this week.

Outlaws (6) continue to copycat Lynx's performance this week (I'm so funny, but nobody's going to see this anyways). They even out with Edge winning and losing a game to offset their further weekly performance. However, they weren't able to offset Krzysztof's loss on Strategic Greece, so their total net change this week is still a loss of 3 points.

Blitz (7) get two free wins since Wednesday, bringing their total free wins this week to 3. They finish the week with a statistically impressive 4-1, but only one of their 4 wins were legitimate. Still, Blitz needs all the points they can get to make a dignified exit from Division A.

All completed games this week were 1v1s, with the huge bootfest accounting for 67% of the completed games. 125's boots have pushed French further into the relegation zone; it remains to be seen whether this is significant enough to allow Outlaws to surpass French. Outlaws have a MP ceiling 9 points higher than French now, but are still 20 points behind French. Someone else do a further in-depth analysis of how 125's boots cost French like Hades did for andy did for Lynx, since I'm not paid enough to do something of that magnitude here. In fact, I'm not even paid at all.

Game has been deleted already. The CLOT runs every 3 hours. It checks if any game has a player who hasn't joined in over 3 days. However, if the last update happened at 2d 23h 59m(with respect to the game), then the game wont be deleted until 3d 2hr 59m.

This is by design as Fizzer doesn't want me spamming WL to check for game status too frequently.
