We have many problems. So write a list with the problems you have and let's have a look at them these following days to solve them.

I will start listing my problems with Diplos
• Players become AFK before even the game starts.
• Players break NAPs making them totally useless.
• There are players who are impatient and cannot wait a bit longer. They must know that Diplos need time.
• Usually half players remain silent and/or they don't roleplay.

Included in diplo mod --> no problem and becoming afk is also no problem through the support of ais, but the other problems can't be fixed through mods

Blacklist them or increase the open seat requirements so that only high level players can join

• The templates 1 and 2 were pretty decent. I don't think that they were rule heavy. If you compare them to mine, you can say that they are way heavier.
• I like the 3rd for the scenario it has and the restrictions it has to both armies and alliances. It is also good that the rebellion system is without declaration although I like people to declare. I don't know though if in this game people become and that is my question.
• About 4 and 5 I think that this Map does not suit both of them. I believe that in the level you are right now, you have unlocked more historical maps that would do. About the rules, I felt in the 4th that there were lacks, however, the 5th had more rules but I don't think it was heavy.
• The 6th is the best of them all I believe. It is the only template in which I found the PE system, you put the general Diplo rules which means that automatically it is a Diplo game. But, due to being a Custom Scenario and there are many slots that have to be covered, people will be AFK, I don't know though if many players join the time you play.

In general, you are a good Diplo Template maker but you feel that sometimes you have put many rules while they are only the basic rules. You have the potential to invent new rules and that is what we want here.

dabo1, even high level players become impatient, I know I can blacklist them. I just wrote the problems I have as of right now. Thank you though that you gave a couple of solutions for these problems

Does anyone have ideas for diplomacy games?

I believe that the host's level matters. You have another feeling if the host is level 50 and other when he/she is 20. I prefer high level hosts. 35+ level is an ok one

I am playing Warligth in the past years now. And finally i can do a DIPLO but i fell that less people are playing Diplo games and are less interesting than years later.

BTW, i am creating my first diplo. Although its my secound because my first wasnt a DIPLO at all cause everyone was playing as FF game. I want ideas to go to my diplo,

General Hippaforalkus, you can get some ideas if you play diplos with templates. Then you can see which rules are attracting you and put them in your templates. I suggest you to have at least the basic rules. Claim 1 territory, declare war before attacking, roleplay and if you don't follow the rules you are PE. Just give more details or add more things in these rules
