I didn't say any of those things you massive freak.

You are taking the fucking piss out of victims of rape and sexual abuse when you use mention of them as part of your shady and deceitful tactics to manipulate people's opinions on feminism, and seriously undermining the horrors of male rape when you equate it with being made to penetrate. You've nit-picked your way through data concerning real people's ordeals and selected the figures that best support your position and wilfully misrepresented the facts and figures that you have to hand to further your own ends. That's fucking disrespect.

The only person I'm disrespecting is you, and that's fine cos you're a nasty little shit.

@Tori:

If you find yourself on the same team as someone who says that men are raped as often as women, it's time to take a step back and have a little think.

Question 1: Did you say that or did you not?

Shut up, Emily, don't fucking engage with me. Go get 'made to penetrate' someone with your flaccid or otherwise cock, then go get raped. Compare the two experiences and report back. Prick.

Question 2: Did you say that or did you not?

I said those things. These are some things you attributed to me on the grounds of me saying those two things:
1. You think raping a woman is worse than raping a man.
2. You think it's disgusting to say that men are being raped as often as women.
3. You say it's ridiculous to compare men and women being raped, as women being raped is so much more severe.
4. It's not unfair to say that you utterly disrespect male rape victims.
I haven't directly responded to any of this because it's tacky and rude as hell to argue about this kind of thing, but seeing as you're being such an incredible asshole about it, here you go.

1. I don't think it's worse when a woman gets raped than when a man gets raped; I think it's worse when someone gets raped than when someone is made to penetrate.
2. I don't think it's 'disgusting' to say that men are being raped as often as women, I think it's wrong.
3. I haven't said that it's ridiculous to compare male and female rape, nor that female rape is more severe. When I talk about rape, I am not excluding male rape. I am excluding anyone that's been forced to penetrate another, mainly because that's not what 'rape' means.
4. It really is.

Then I ask you again: what is essentially worse in "forcibly penetrating" than in "being forced to penetrate", perhaps under threat of violence? So much worse that it justifies the first allegiation being treated as guilty until proven innocent plus a much harsher sentence, and the second one as a more "normal crime", with innocent until proven guilty and a much less severe punishment?

The only real difference I see is that only men can be accused of the former because women don't have penises. Peculiar that feminist legislators, that you think are egalitarians, don't take issue with this clear discrimination based on gender.

What if a women used a strap-on to forcibly penetrate the man's anus?

Isn't rape really about violence rather than sex?

I found a shorter and less offense way to make my point:

Are there differences between men and women? Yes.

Should they be equal before the law? Yes.

Is there a difference between "rape" and "forced to penetrate"? Yes.

Are they acts of sexual violence that are equally cruel and should be punished? Yes.

Case closed on that issue, moving on, how about someone make a guide to getting men and women laid so they can get rid of all their sexual tension? Like Barney said, all major incidents can be traced back to sexual tension :P

Are these the questions that were being debated? I thought it was just Emanly repeating obviously false assertions and then responding to points that people never made. With a little 'male genital mutilation' thrown in for good measure and no apparent reason. Oh yeah, and "MALE RAPE" HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FEMINISM.

Like Barney said, all major incidents can be traced back to sexual tension :P

Barney and Friends has changed since I last saw it.

This debate has followed the typical format, though rape is usually mentioned before circumcision (maybe it was, I'm not going back to check).

Honestly, I've had enough of debating who's worse for society. I've heard radical feminism described as the "vocal minority" or in other words a small group of women screaming at the top of their cyber-lungs.

I've only met 2-3 radical feminists in my time and I didn't even have to say anything to them, because the girls around me took care of it. Women aren't scary and they're not trying to rule the world, most of them just want to be respected (ask Lawlz for a definition if you need it).

I live by my set of principles and enough women seem to be fine with what they are, so I'm not gonna bitch.

If women really start lynching men in the streets for having a penis, then I'll move to another country and let them build their utopia. As long as there's a place on this planet I can live in peace and take care of my own family I don't see why I need to take to arms and start a resistance.

What?

That's what we've been debating??

http://prospect.org/article/good-mens-rights-movement-hard-find

And ironically, from that article I find what Emanly could not provide: http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/09/living/chris-brown-female-on-male-rape/

Or maybe, he just didn't want to provide it, since it contains these interesting tidbits:

'According to a 2010 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 71 men in the United States have been raped.'

and

'"Whenever you talk about male survivors, women have it statistically worse, but it's not a competition -- and we each need our time to talk about it," [a male victim of rape] says.'

Maybe now you will stop using the suffering of real people as a stick to beat feminists with. Especially since, as the first link will tell you, the same feminists who campaign for rape also campaign about male rape. Meanwhile you just sit around spewing hatred on internet forums and do nothing for the issues about which you feign concern.

What?

I read that somewhere on a link provided by 5 from that king of men site or something like that, seems that some men are scared women are going to take over and create a matriarchy utopia and turn men into their bitches...oh dear.

If there's one thing I've learned from history it's that technology, civil rights and charismatic leaders aren't the key to world peace.

That's what we've been debating??

I don't think that's what we were originally debating, but seems to me that's the direction the debate took :P

I agree with Hauptmann, civil rights are absolutely toxic for world peace.

Like, World War three will start because of gay marriage, or something.

I didn't say it was toxic for world peace, I said it wasn't the key. A piece of paper doesn't change the way people think, though it may impact the way they act.

Righ Knight is too funny. I'm too drunk to follow your reasoning Zap, but every flame that flickers and burns in my little heart is now fuelled by my desire for you to be right about this. "Welcome to my Site, I am so glad you could make it!" is how I'm going to greet everyone I ever meet from now on forever for the rest of my life, and then I'm going to say "cheers. Veni, vidi, vici" to them, and give them a link to my sexy website. Amazing.
