So I'm making a new map because I got bored of my WWI map and will probably continue it later. This map will be one bonus per territory (provided I can keep it under 1500) but I'm not sure how to deal with the Europe inset

Please finish this project. It's really ambitious and this thing is a must-have for custom scenarios. The only thing I have a problem with is that both Memel (an insignificant coastline) and the croatian exclave of Dubrovnik are single territories. They are too insignificant to be a territory in their own right.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm working very hard on actually getting this map done. I will remove Dubrovnik and might remove Memel, and agree that this is important for custom scenarios which is why I wanted to start this.

3 things:

1. What are you going to use those stars and octagons for? A map will look nice if you keep the bonus shapes nice and simple (circles, squares, even pentagons/hexagons at most)

2. Please add a coastline for Greenland like what you did for Alaska. Vikings settled there.

3. It also would be nice if some of the US states would look similar to the original 13 Colonies.

The random shapes will either act like ports/oceanic connections or will be removed, it depends on how many territories I end up acquiring

Glad you're assigning bonuses to each territory, I love that in any map. Would appreciate if you split the americas a bit more for diplos that take place a lil' bit older (colonies and all that). Also, if you need testing to be done, I'm up for it. Keep up the good work.

Needs more islands and connections, in my opinion. You left out so many interesting islands and archipels, particularly in the southern Indian Ocean and "west" Pacific, while doing some island groups way too detailed (eg. Hawaii). That could add alot of interesting naval warfare to games, specifically colonial scenarios, which are the main focus judging by the name.

Two things:
1. The connector territories in Europe should connect inward more. For example, 5 should also connect to Malta, and Crimea should have one

2. The southern Indian ocean should definitely connect across to Australia or Indonesia
