not that im in a clan but i have a little advice

put the Clan tag at the front :) that way its easier for the people in your clan and people in other clans to find you all on the invite list.

about half the reason to having a clan is to make other clan members easier to find, since they'll all be in the same area..

Don't really understand why people have such an issue with clans. People wanting to form social groups and play with reputable, reliable players is hardly suprising.

If joining a clan ensured my random people did not join my team in tournaments, then go AWOL, that's a definite benefit.

It's my opinion, that I should have the option to voice my opinion that I don't like what I don't like..
If an official clan tag idea is ever implemented, I could foresee an open seat requirement being "In Your Clan" or "In Clan Designation XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX" perhaps with an option to add more boxes, rather then providing a vast amount of boxes..
This would obviously also include options of "Not in a Clan" and "Exclude clan Designation XXXX XXXX etc."
this could inspire me to join a clan.. however I'm not sure of any current clans I would be willing to join.. when I was a regular player, I tended to play against people I believed to be good, generally from experience, as well as being good people.. I see clans as just being an open selection with player created requirements.. some of which may be useful, if upheld, and others would make the clan practically worthless..

Of course everyone is welcome to have their own opinion Perrin. But I doubt x was directing that at all in your direction. When you don't like something, you tend to give constructive criticism and explain what you don't like about it, which is helpful. it's the comments like "Not another clan....." as a whole response that are just trolling, rude, and spam.

I didn't make this thread for people to argue so please stop. I also didn't make this thread for people to voice their opinions about clans in general. I made this thread to raise awareness of my clan and to show our members who else is in the clan that they can play with.

yeah, perrin is one of the best posters here. kurtis is one of the worst. hence, "shut the hell up" would be an insult were it directed at perrin, but good advice when directed at kurtis.

Note the irony here? Hmm..is irony the word I'm looking for...mnight not be...oh well, point is rude/spam would be the above comment, saying;

Maybe Fizzer really should implement some sort of clan support. Can't do much harm IMO since Clans are a reality and it doesn't look like that'll change.

Here's some constructive criticism: try an other name. Because we're all warlighters, it doesn't make sense to say only a certain group of players is. Or at least shorten your tag, "{Warlighter}" is just too long. And it is easier to recognize if it's placed on the beginning of your name, rather than at the end.

if kurtis started a thread and posted that first comment and nothing else, i would completely ignore it (unless some other people started saying something worthwhile of course). whereas not a single thread about clans goes by without kurtis disrupting it with his "rude/spam" comments. there is no *hypocrisy* or anything similar. (if you thought it was irony, then you should have found my satire of hypocritical trolls funny).

We need a mega-thread for general clan-related discussion, so that the spam and disruption can stay out of threads not designed to discuss the 'idea' of clans at all.
