Normally a PDF (which I often get via email) is opened with 'Preview'. Here, it just said no applications recognised it. When I'm on it again I'll take another look. I have iWork so any Pages/Word format would be fine though.
My issue is I am not a fan of installing software, especially since I am at work. Downloading exe's is a good way to get a virus. Not saying you'd do that, but some would...and we all know accounts can get hacked/stolen.
This certainly adds fuel to the fire in regards to the Odin=Sze debate. This reads *exactly* as I would expect it to if sze had written it. Noone else uses the term "net income" to mean "the sum of troops gained by a player per turn through base income, territorial income, and cards, minus troops lost by fighting and cards.". It doesnt even make sense. That isnt a net income its a net gain (in armies). Income is one way of gaining armies. I cant remember if sze used to call breaking a bonus "spoiling" it, does anyone else? His english is bad in places, he talks about europe a lot and uses mathematical formulas unecessarily.
Odin if youre not sze you two should really meet up, youd get on really well.
Regarding you arguments, I could use net gain instead of net income, but they both are understandable I think.
Spoiling, doesnt everyone use that term for breaking a bonus? I any way, I like the term because it's one word and unmistakable pretty much in every context.
I agree that some places sound rather mathematical, but I wanted to be concise in expression and mathematical formulas are good for it.
Edit: BTW I'd be happy if you showed me the places where my English is bad. I want to learn...
