I am currently reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and I quite like it.

Of all my 21 years I've been alive, I have never fully read a book
It is a waste of time, and also leads to millions of deaths

I do not not recommend any book at all

I did read part of Heart of Darkness, but then I slept while hearing the audio book
It's a very outdated book by the way, it's about African colonialism, which isn't relevant
No matter how much you wish it was happening today

In short, reading about someone's fantasy world is a pretty attracted-to-the-same-gender thing

Highly recommend the read, if there ever was a motivational book, it's this one, it does well to remind us that time is fleeting, and that to live a long life, we must do well to live a full life. He highlights how dying men all exclaim how if only they had a second chance at life, if only they had a little bit more time, they would've made more of themselves. The younger you are when you read it, the more beneficial it will be.


Please do not openly state your distaste for books, the more you read, the more you know.

Hey, I'm quite young

Maybe I'll read it sometime. I finished Heart of Darkness about 10 minutes ago. It won't stick with me emotionally, but I understand why it's a classic. It's a bit too antiquated for my taste, but maybe I'm being too harsh.

I don't read many books nowadays, used to be a big book worm, but visual media gradually took that status away.

I'm a few chapters into Micheal Crichton's "State of Fear", which is a strange book to say the least, and I'm not too sure if I'll ever finish it.

Two Halo Novels (The Cole Protocol, and Fall of Reach), which I'm probably going to have to restart because it's been so long since I've even looked at them on the shelf.

Three history books. "Great Map's of the Civil War". Which I really like because of it's folders containing the maps of the battles you're reading about.

"The World's Great Tanks from 1916 to the Present Day". Which my Grandfather got me, it contains a few factual errors, mostly in regards to the Shitty Sherman myth. But that worked out in my favor since I got to explain the errors and flex a bit of my knowledge on the subject.

"The World's Worst Weapons". Which my Grandfather also got me. Good visuals, some good info, some bad info, it let me flex a bit more, so it was okay.

As for books I finished a long time ago, "Swiss Family Robinson" was one, that was a long time ago, but the setting was really interesting for a younger Kilos. The 'Boy at war" trilogy was another one younger Kilos enjoyed.

Otherwise I have a few books that I haven't even began reading yet, and I don't think I'll ever work up the will, "A World at Arms" is one of those, I've also sadly lost a book on North American Reptile and Amphibian species that I used to often keep on me.

I'm not looking forward to too many books, however "Garrison Girl" is a potential one I'm interested in, since Attack on Titan is my favorite franchise, and I've heard good things about it. As for the question regarding penis girth, I've tried jumping the gun and just crushing my member between two books, but I think that only served to decrease girth, so I can't really provide an answer.

I have two historical books I have yet to finish. I'm halfway thru the "India: A History" by John Keay, and I have not begun "China: A History" by John Keay. That book on Genghis Khan by Jack Wetherford was an eye-opener, and the "Silk Roads: A New History of The World" book was quite a letdown. I never saw the size of the book and I ordered it from Amazon, but it should be considered a children's book if I'm being honest, considering the oafish size of it and the [italics]severe[/italics] lack of information and pages. Again, I never saw the physical form of the book before buying, so my apologies if my criticism sounds obvious. I was not expecting the book to be built that way.

Besides that, I've read tiny blurb books that are incredibly cheap on Amazon on the Ottomans and the Achaemenid dynasty, and I would consider them casual reads since you don't have to be too involved to understand, but it still gets the significant points in history quite well.

As for my next book (since English classes in America require you have a reading log to make sure you're not a severe lobotomite), I'm torn between Hemingway and McCarthy (Blood Meridian). Any recommendations (besides either of those authors)?

Anyone remember Lord of the Rings?

I also like "The Hardy Boys", "The Thirty Nine Clues", and "Ranger's Apprentice".

Hardy Boys and Thirty Nine Clues are more adolescent books though.

"The Lord of the Rings" , "The Hobbit" , "The Hunger Games" "The Hardy Boys" are all great books!

I also like the "I Survived" series

The "Hardy Boys" kinda reveals your age but whatever.

Everybody should read LOTR and like LOTR. If you don't like LOTR, get out.
