you could organise the county super-bonuses more logically. have them arranged analogously to their geographical positions, maybe.

These small territories are just as small as mess on USA Big map (Virginia "Independent Cities").

x you mean leave them where they are now but organize them to correspond to the county's location?
And yeah I realize that now grzechoo, hopefully I can make it a little better to handle once I merge some of them together.

Bad news (sorta): tried uploading the SVG today to add the next county, and it's too big :( Not sure how else I can clean it up to make it smaller--any suggestions??

That's bound to happen, there's a ton of territories lol. I'll go back and do a second look-through when (and if) I can get it all done.

merge territories and simplify paths

Don't use the simplify paths tool! That will ruin your borders!
Instead, you should manually simplify a few places, like Millcreek, Erie county. And you could also delete the flag. There's a lot of data in such an object.

Lol but I'll start with the flag and see how far that takes me. I'll probably have to go back and simplify some like you said manually, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there

So I'm thinking about splitting Philadelphia County (same as the city) into several neighborhoods, probably as seen on this image:

That's because I haven't added it yet, it'll probably be one of the last things to go on. I was just wondering ahead of time so I'm not screwing around, you know?

Well, the only reason I could think of for splitting Philadelphia is that it is a very large territory bordering many small ones, but since you haven't added it yet I can't tell whether to split it or not.

That was my thinking. Well I should hopefully be able to finish this map off tomorrow or Thursday at the latest, I'll split Philly up and see how it looks.

Quick update:
Changed the size to make the map bigger and to decrease the amount of bytes I'm using. I'm fixing all the center points before I complete the final two counties, so if I happen to miss any and you happen to see it, point it out for me! :)

The map is now done! If you'd like to test the map, comment and I'll invite you to a game. If there's anything wrong with the map, like missing connections, let me know and I'll change it once the map is over.
