The borders look very messy with lot of gaps and small overlaps.

Yup. I had to simplify the Map and didn't find a way to correct it without starting again... and the Mapmaking took 7 days of work. :(

I saw you made the same mistake at your first Map (of course not as messy as mine). - Did you found a way to correct it quite simpel?

Actually i have improved but you should try issander simplification method(somewhere in the forums).Also using the divison tool then and doing the border is easier and better maybe even faster.

Sorry, it might be to early to ask for test-games. I will work further at this map and try to fix that borders. Thanks to all comments!

For the next map you do i suggest you use a pen tool not a pencil tool.

@Timinator - Problem Borderbonus - gut beobachtet!

eliod is my Brother - so i am able to make some AI Fights on the Map. He likes to have the Map very realistic, but this makes some strategical Balance Problems.

There are good Picks (4x5) in the middle of the map - called "Ruhrgebiet". You are able to get about 12 Amys per Turn after first turn. No Chance to beat it from border Territorys - because they are to big and you need some Turns to get them. To solve the Problem - i ask my brother to event the borderbonus (especially for first Pick Moves). But got no chance to test them ...

Would like you to test them with you in 1vs1 Games - if you are interested. You seems to have a good eye for it...

@ Cephistokles: Ich hatte ursprünglich noch Paderborn, Essen und Oberhausen mit dabei... und ich denke, die gehören auch zu einem Soccer-Bonus. - Ich mache sie wieder rein.

Die Karte ist noch reichlich unausgegoren, deswegen habe ich noch keine weiteren Test-Spiele angelegt. Ich lege aber mal ein mit Dir an.

My opinion about the border- bonuses: the fact that we have big bonuses in the center may change the event of the game to the center but it will.......
lieber auf deutsch: Ohne borderboni wird es vielleicht einen Kampf vorwiegend um den Ruhrpott geben bei dem die kleineren randterretorien dann die rolle spielen eine abrupte begrenzung des Kriegsgebiets nach außen zu verhindern.(eine art fließender übergang: Hauptkriegsschauplatz/Nebenkriegsschauplätze/Kartenrand)
Niemand ist gezwungen an den rand zu setzten...
