Well, if you've seen the answer for this one, it'll be easy, but why not?

#28: The king offers a knight one of his daughters as a standard hero reward for saving the kingdom. The oldest daughter always tells the truth. The middle daughter is random whether she tells the truth or not. The youngest daughter always lies. The knight doesn't know which daughter is which, and the king offers him one yes/no question to ask to only one daughter.

The knight would like to have either the oldest daughter or the youngest daughter, since he'll know where he stands with either of them - as long as he avoids the middle one, he's fine.

What question can the knight ask to ensure that he doesn't get the middle daughter?

does the little sister and the big sister knows is what state (lie/truth) is her middle sister right now? this is wierd because if they don't, i can ask a question like "would your middle sister tell me she is the middle sister if i were to ask her?", the little sister would answer "i don't know", but how would the big sister answer? How do you lie when you don't know the anwser?

Ask one daughter(A), is she (B) (point at one of the other ones) older than her (C)(point at the last one).

If the answer you get is'yes' then pick C.
If the answer is 'no' then you pick B.

How does this work?
If the one you ask is the one who say something random, the answer doesn't matter since you'll pick one of the other two.
if you ask the truth teller, and she say yes, you'll pick C the youngest one.
if you ask the truth teller, and she say no, you'll pick B, the youngest one.
if you ask the one who lies, and she say yes, you'd pick C, in this case the oldest.
if you ask the one who lies and she say no, you pick B, again the oldest one.
