Fridge: I totally agree with your point that Arun's system is flawed and not an accurate representation of the active clans. But ffs, if you don't want to be a part of it just ignore it, no need to flame the guy to death. You already made your case, if he wants to act on it and change the description he will. Or maybe the other participating clans will put more pressure on him to "fix" that plainly leave the "system". This back and forth messaging is just throwing mud around.

Arun: Why don't you just change the description to state that your system is trying to measure ranking between the following participating clans "this", "that", "theother"? If some folks don't want to participate it's their option, focus on serving the ones who do want to be involved.

Can't he just remove successful from the description? If you want to rank most active clans, fine, but get quality statements out of there because this doesn't factor them accordingly. You have in the wiki "good" and "skill" as well.

I'm not sure how this even ranks activity. I've never even heard of BR until it was mentioned here. Do they have a tag? I play in tons of games with clan people and I've never seen it.

Not to mention you don't even list the competitions you are basing this on. If you are going to keep doing this highly flawed system, you should at least be transparent and provide a list of events you scored on there. You should also put rules in there as to what qualifies as a clan event. I know I am in events you are in, yet I don't see WG with any points (and no I am not going to provide you with information either, which is the point many of us tried to make about the flaws in this).

I think it is a waste of time, but clearly some do not. That is fine, we are all entitled to our opinions. But if you are going to put in the time to upkeep this you should at least define everything on there.

It doesn't even say when it started scoring (what is the cutoff?). It also doesn't say whether individuals or only clan teams count.

Seriously, you at least need to define everything and not just throw out arbitrary numbers. RSP 69 basically posted the same thing :)

I think the way I will show which events have been used is by adding a category page on the Clans wiki called: Inter Clan Events used in the WCRS.

It's really quite simple-any event involving more than one clan and not involving non clan parties.

How can you make the quality statement like that? Did you poll everyone on the site?

I don't think you should be loading these pages up with your opinions unless you have some sort of disclaimer.

After reading that, I am officially done trying to help you. I'm not going to waste my time when you are just throwing out your opinions on what our clan is about and who we do or do not want in.

How can you say 2-3 members from P would probably be accepted? Are you running WG? You don't even have your members correct (Swiffe declined).

JSA wrote the two passages himself-you need to look before you leap. I'm sorry JSA and WG don't update your clan page-not my problem though. If you want the correct information to be there, put it up yourself. If you want, you can just give me the information and I'll put it on for you.

If you read everything properly and thoroughly (instead of the 5 minute scan you seemed to have done), then you would know that only events made after I made the WCRS are used.

JSA is not the leader of WG, I am. JSA and Lolowut are the primary recruiters and top advisers, but they belong to other clans as well and did not desire to lead WG. So if you want to copy statements you shouldn't be copying his.

I copied NOTHING. JSA wrote it himself, after his return to the Wiki. I don't put lots of information on other clans when they don't give me stuff to put on-when making clan pages I just put a brief summary generally comprising of around 1-3 sentences.

My only advice to you is like it or lump it. I will continue on with this and as time goes on, more and more clans will be ranked, and my vision will be complete :) I will find the clan that is the most active, and is also successful.

"inter-clan events" - why do you value infinitely higher a single match between two clans more than a team from one clan winning a tournament after a tournament versus whoever.the.f***.wants.to.compete? Don't you think such achievements are a far bigger proof of "skill and activity"? That's the very essence of the problem with you Arun - YOU see only what you want to see, and don't seem to listen to anybody who was at some point giving you a helping hand.. after all first comments were all probably meant not to troll you, but to improve your idea so that it actually would do what it was supposed to do.. but as you keep ignoring people, more and more people will turn away from you... Stop acting like a stubborn idiot and face the truth Arun. I bet if you would have listened to us, and tweak your system to make it as objective as possible, all the clans would be glad to join.. Arun, I wrote nothing of the kind. ChrisCMU is the founder. I am simply one of original members in it, along with Lolowut and Chris. I never said we were anything like [WM]. You simply made that up. We had only 3 guys who were a part of [P] originally, the original 3 members of our clan. We have since added Reza, The Unknown Ranger, and Gnullbegg. I am sure we will add more soon too.

As for this clan rankings stuff, I think you should realize that everybody views it as a joke except for you. Maybe if you got better at the game, and your clan had more than a couple decent players in it, people would take you seriously.
