My good friend Sherlock Holmes was looking at this thread just today. After hours and hours of detailed study, he observed, much to my astonishment, that with the exception of one player, ALL the people in the A League list were from the [20] clan! The second observation he made astonished me even further, coincidentally (or not), [20] happened to be the clan the league organizer, Qi aka Voodop, founded! :O

Could this be a coincidence? I better ring up Sherlock Holmes and ask him to investigate further.

No, long term what youre doing will not work as well as i want it to.

no community project on WL lasts long term, people eventually stop caring. The only exception I can think of is the clan league, but then again, WL players have always had some insane addiction to clan politics.

i hear long term milky way and andromeda galaxy will collide, all life on earth will perish, and then boom a supernova explode and big big black hole happen and suck all the universe, and no more universe then black hole avada kedavra! no more black hole everything over. And then God say let there be light again and then we reincarnate and everything happen again and wl will eventually start again but maybe not same people because mayvbe reincarnate when we will have different likes and hobbies who know, so different events so long term no wl community project will last.

Five newbies who just learned to read were so astonished by Pulsey's post they decided life was not worth living so they jumped off a tall building.

I'll (pulsey) play if you guys are humble enough to let me join the A league. the B league sounds like the type of competition you see in the average 'Europe 3v3 50%' games, so no point.

I can give this a shot.

I fully understand piggys concerns and i can second them.
It will get too big too soon and it will end with players quiting before it really started.

Make it smaller. Start with divisions of 6 players.

Each division will have 6 players that play 10 games. That way every combination is played.

After the ten games are played, people get relegated.

Then you can open up new divisions as players are willing to join.


Edit: And name them Division AAA+, AA+, A+, AAA, AA, A etc. so people like pulsey are not ego hurt. :)

When I started there were 'Bronze League' 'Silver League' 'Gold League' 3v3 Europe templates. Maybe bring them back with pre-decided pre-reqs?

You could also arrange that on warlight chat, if you had say set times each day EST/GMT when you all logged on there, you could see that people were online to play/be invited.
