It was really fun. Worked better in text than I thought it might.

I also had Veigar bang to rights. 'Go with the flow'. Guess I'm just not that convincing.

Great game by the wolves.

I noticed that phule didn't fully understand the game. For that reason those mistakes didn't arouse as much suspicion as they otherwise would.

Another quote of the day 'ehrmantraut seered his balls'. Knew this name would come in for some childish comedic value.

By the way. Isn't t the seer allowed to say he is a seer and tell the world the person he knows is a villager? Obviously a wolf could do the same but a bit more text is what we needed.

Final note. Turns our apathy in a village full of wolves isn't the best policy.

Excellent detective work, Doctor! Too bad it wasn't good enough to save you.

- Only successful because everyone embraced the idea, so I'm very grateful to everyone!

- Arun was the most obvious. A few people pinned Veigar. Lawlz was fairly under the radar tbf!

Great game by the wolves.
- They did well, but the village idiocy really helped them :P

- Horrendously immature :P

- There's no real restrictions on who can say what really. And whilst the angel is still alive, the seer can freely come out, knowing he's likely protected at night. But once the angel goes, he's mincemeat. And maybe the angel guesses that the wolves guess he'll protect the seer, so the angel protects elsewhere and the wolves much him. Some gambits would be fun, though!

- Obvious, maybe, but good value! :D

Well, actually, if anyone had taken my namesake literally, I was really trying to act as a fool. Or a village idiot. Whichever one.

... I lasted a lot longer than I thought.

Definitions taken from http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/
Fool:
A person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person:
'what a fool I was to do this'

Dorp:
chiefly South African
A small rural town or village:
'dreary little dorps'

... I swear I didn't know that Ehrmantraut was a seer when I voted for him on the first turn, but I got lucky! Well, for my goals, at least.

Crud. Forgot to add one more thing:
"Phulesdorp, any reason you're waiting? What if he's waiting for you to vote?

Consequently, I'm going to put a voting deadline here of 22:00 GMT - that's just under 4 hours time!" -- p.12, Dom

... As acting in the role of a fool, I was waiting for 6th Army to cast a vote for Arun or Skunk.

Here's what things would have turned out if I hadn't gone to the park:
A) If he had voted for Skunk, I would have voted for someone else and any potential suspicions directed at me would have been diverted.
or
B) If he had voted for Arun, I would have voted for Skunk, even if my fellow villagers got suspicious. I was, after all, rooting for the wolves to win.

I didn't want to get voted out when 6th Army could have done it for me.

Yes... but remember it's always more easier to look into hindsight and see what you could have done than to get it right at the moment... that is unless you are the game manager :p

Also, it's been several days. I had no idea I had made it to the gallows.

Dom. In order to fully appreciate a game it is necessary you understand the victory conditions. If you do decide to give yourself a separate mission it is important that your opponents know you have otherwise you 'win' without completion which seems a bit of a hollow victory.

You just did the equivililent of playing warlight aiming to hold Congo for three turns without telling your opponent. You let your opponent run wild all over the map eventually gobbling you and then told yourself that a) you achieved your goal and b ) you had fun.

To reiterate the rules. It is a team game pitting the informed minority against the uninformed majority. Either the wolves or villagers win (unless states otherwise by the host). There is no inbetween. If the villagers had won, mystery man was effectively still a winner.

Giving yourself this secret mission lost you and all the villagers the game.

Anyway glad you had fun.

In fact its worse. You played a team game without telling your opponents or team mates your secret goal.

@Balls: Sorry, I should have clarified myself better -- I meant that if I told everyone I was playing as the village idiot, I probably would have been voted out, thus ruining my plans.
