I always seem to have problems when it comes to games where there are little wastelands at the start, like these two games. These two players (SuperSereal and Ronkins) aren't very good, and iv defeated them before. Can anyone point out why i lost these two, was it because of my picks or expansion strategy?

Game 1. You picked to counter. It didn't work. Then you searched the enemy. Altogether, you had less efficient spots and killed too many useless neutrals compared to the enemy.

Game 2. You played that as a joke, right?

i usually try to guess where my opponent will pick, and go for a safe bonus and then combo it quicly and force the game over quickly, but when there are few wastelands, its too hard for me to guess, and i f*ck up.

game 2 was a bit of fun, i'v played this guy before and he lost pretty badly, so i thought of trying a triple pick. My luck failed and that guy managed to grow much bigger than me. :/

game 1: not sure what you're trying to do, but if you're trying to counter west africa, pick it as 3, then pick south africa as 4, with 1 & 2 as a combo (or just safe bonuses, preferably ones worth 3), 5 a safe bonus, 6 as a counter to 5.

game 2: why challenge a first turn bonus when you could triple pick on africa? don't be so short-sighted. you could still salvage that though, turn 9, take iran, blockade spain maybe.

Click history, and slide it to turn 0. Then you can see where all the wastelands are. :D
