I must agree with Samurai. I take this as game played for fun. If it is by someone considered as deadly serious competition, than i can understand removing luck, but still will not support such idea :)

For me no luck = no fun.

Just to avoid some kinds of reaction. Of course there is no direct proportion between luck and fun.

someone might have mentioned this already, not quite sure, but for the FFA ladder maybe if it made players anonymous then it would result in a better played ffa

yeah, if territories can have fog, players' names could too for FFAs to be fairer. no private chat too for those games, only public.
